Training Courses Required by Employer. Where the Employer requires employees to take training in order to maintain their current job skills or refresher courses, the Employer shall bear the full cost of the course, including tuition, entrance or registration fees, laboratory fees, and course-required books. The Employer shall also reimburse the employee for travel, meals and other legitimate expenses and employees shall attend without loss of pay. Courses required by the Employer (compulsory training) will not be costed against the jointly administered Staff Development Fund. Employees will not be entitled to claim for expenses when the course is held at the employee's regular work location. The Joint Committee shall receive a monthly printout of the budget summary for compulsory training and courses.

Contractor represents that it is in compliance with and agrees that it will continue to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. § 12101 et seq.), the Fair Employment and Housing Act (Government Code §§ 12900 et seq.), and ensure a workplace free of sexual harassment pursuant to Government Code 12950 and regulations and guidelines issued pursuant thereto. Contractor agrees to compile data, maintain records and submit reports to permit effective enforcement of all applicable antidiscrimination laws and this provision. Contractor shall include this nondiscrimination provision in all subcontracts related to this Agreement and when applicable give notice of these obligations to labor organizations with which they have Agreements.
