Travel Authority. All travel must be approved in advance by the employee's Manager Employees will complete a Travel Authority form. All travel arrangements will be the responsibility of the employee. The employees may use any commercial travel agency or book direct with airlines. The Travel Authority and Advance Form should contain, at a minimum, the following information: name and address of traveller purpose and duration of trip the locations, dates and times of arrival and departure costs modes and classes of transportation vehicle rental size and authorization amount of advance requested name of accommodation, city and rate. an estimate number and cost of meals and miscellaneous expenses other expected costs The will if necessary, advance funds for travel. The would recommend that all travel costs be placed on the employee's credit card and a travel claim be submitted at the conclusion of trip. When travel advances are provided to the employee for travel, Travel Claims should be submitted on a timely basis.

Travel Authority. 49.1 Employee Travel Authority (EFTA)
Travel Authority. The Financial Management System (FMS) includes “encumbrance processing for payment creation” to ensure compliance with the Charter requirement for adequate evidence that appropriation for goods or services has been made prior to payment of demands upon the City Treasury. An encumbering document, the GAETL document, is required for all City travel. A completed travel authority document must be approved by the Department Head (or Authorized Approver) 10 business days prior to the commencement of travel. Also see Section 1.8.8.A on required approvals from the Office the Mayor. The following are acceptable documentation to support the necessity and importance of the travel: • Brief description of the purpose of the business meeting/trip; and, • Brochures, flyers, pamphlets or agenda for professional conferences and/or training programs; or • Correspondence between City employee/s and individual/s responsible for planning or scheduling business meeting/s (other than professional conferences or training programs).

  • Legal Authority The Contractor warrants and assures H-GAC that it possesses adequate legal authority to enter into this Agreement. The Contractor's governing body, where applicable, has authorized the signatory official(s) to enter into this Agreement and bind the Contractor to the terms of this Agreement and any subsequent amendments hereto.

  • Final Authority In case of dispute with respect to credits or deductions, the decision of the Board shall be final subsequent to prior consultation between the employee concerned and the administrative officials.

  • Developer Authority Consistent with Good Utility Practice and this Agreement, the Developer may take whatever actions or inactions with regard to the Large Generating Facility or the Developer Attachment Facilities during an Emergency State in order to (i) preserve public health and safety, (ii) preserve the reliability of the Large Generating Facility or the Developer Attachment Facilities, (iii) limit or prevent damage, and (iv) expedite restoration of service. Developer shall use Reasonable Efforts to minimize the effect of such actions or inactions on the New York State Transmission System and the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities. NYISO and Connecting Transmission Owner shall use Reasonable Efforts to assist Developer in such actions.

  • Proper Authority Each Party represents and warrants that the person executing this Grant Agreement on its behalf has full power and authority to enter into this Grant Agreement.

  • Travel Policy Section 1. Travel allowances and reimbursements, including meal, lodging and transportation expenses, shall be as provided in the Department of Administrative Services, Oregon Accounting Manual Travel Policy (OAM #40.10.00.PO). However, Section .105 of the policy shall read as follows: Personal telephone calls to immediate family members or significant others to confirm the traveler’s well being while on travel status are allowed. Employees shall be reimbursed for one (1) phone call home on the first day of travel and every other day for a five (5) to ten (10) minute call. When authorized by the Agency, employees will be provided access to State phone cards or State phone card numbers. When State phone cards are not available or the employee does not charge the call to his/her hotel room, employees shall provide receipts. Personal telephone bills reflecting the eligible calls made during travel status can serve as a receipt. The Employer shall give the Union at least thirty (30) days advance notice of any proposed changes to this policy. Such changes which involve a mandatory subject of bargaining shall be subject to negotiation if requested by the Union.

  • Power; Authority It has all requisite power and authority to enter into this Agreement, to perform its obligations hereunder and to consummate the transactions contemplated hereby. The execution, delivery and performance of this Agreement, the purchase of the Transferred Assets and the consummation of the transactions provided for herein have been duly authorized by all necessary action on the part of the Buyer. This Agreement has been duly executed and delivered by the Buyer and constitutes the legal, valid and binding obligation of the Buyer enforceable against the Buyer in accordance with its terms, except as such enforceability may be limited by bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganization, moratorium or other laws affecting creditors’ rights and by general principles of equity (whether applied in a proceeding at law or in equity).

  • City’s Manager’s Authority To the extent, if any, the City has the power to suspend or terminate this contract or the Contractor’s services under this contract, that power may be exercised by City Manager or a deputy or assistant City Manager without City Council action.

  • Governmental Authority Any national, state or local government or political subdivision thereof, independent system operator, regional transmission owner or operator, or any other governmental, judicial, regulatory, legislative, public or statutory instrumentality, authority, body, agency, department, bureau, board, commission, or entity.

  • LEGAL AUTHORIZATION (a) The Sub-Recipient certifies that it has the legal authority to receive the funds under this Agreement and that its governing body has authorized the execution and acceptance of this Agreement. The Sub-Recipient also certifies that the undersigned person has the authority to legally execute and bind Sub-Recipient to the terms of this Agreement.
