Underpayment of Wages. (a) Where an employee is underpaid all or part of their pay on any occasion they should raise the error immediately with the employer.

If the Appropriate Administrator and the payroll supervisor agree that an underpayment has occurred, they shall immediately notify the affected employee and issue a check for the full amount of the underpayment as soon as practicable, but no later than thirty (30) days after the employee submitted the memorandum to the immediate supervisor. In any event, whether or not an underpayment is found, the employee shall be notified within fifteen (15) work days of the decision.
Underpayment of Wages. (9) Where a Caregiver is underpaid in any manner, the Employer will rectify the error as soon as practicable with consideration to subclauses (10) and (11).
Underpayment of Wages. 10 The Entity agrees that in the event of underpayment of wages to any employee on the Project, whether by the 11 Entity or any subcontractor on the Project, the District may retain from payments due to the Entity, an amount 12 sufficient to pay such worker the difference between the wages required to be paid by the DIR, and the wages 13 actually paid such worker for the total number of hours worked, plus any penalties and forfeitures. Underpayment of Wages. When an employee has been underpaid, the Manager, Payroll or designate, shall, within 15 days of being informed of the underpayment, issue to the employee a cheque in the amount of the underpayment.

If an employee’s wage is underpaid by the employer the employer will pay the shortfall by electronic funds transfer into the employee’s nominated bank account within 5 business days of the employee notifying the operations centre and/or site supervisor in writing of the underpayment and the underpayment having been verified by management.
Underpayment of Wages. (x) Where a Nurse Caregiver is underpaid in any manner, the Employer will rectify the error as soon as practicable with consideration to subclauses (xi) and (xii).

Should the Employer issue an Employee an underpayment of wages and/or entitlements, then the Employer shall make the necessary monetary or entitlement adjustments within five (5) working days and take such internal administrative action as is necessary to correct such errors. The Employer shall notify the Employee in writing that an underpayment has been made and discuss payment options with interest.
Underpayment of Wages. Where an underpayment of an Employee’s wage occurs by reason of an error in calculation by the Employer, the underpayment will be corrected as soon as possible once identified by the Employer or at the request of the Employee. This will not apply when there is a genuine dispute between the Employer and Employee of the amount of monies owed to the Employee.
