Uniforms and Equipment 3. 1 Subject to Schedule A, the Employer shall supply and launder the appropriate uniform for the Employee having regard for the type of work undertaken. 3.2 Safety shoes, where required, are provided by the Employer and must be worn by the Employee. Socks and stockings, where worn by the Employee, must be in accordance with the Employer’s dress requirements, as amended from time to time. 3.3 Where the Employee fails to return any part of a uniform or hotel equipment on termination of employment, or loses, or significantly damages, any part of a uniform or hotel equipment during employment, the Employer shall be entitled to deduct the reasonable cost for replacement from their wages: For uniforms – the original cost of the uniform to the Employer, less one-twelfth for each month that it has been issued. For hotel equipment – the original cost of the equipment, less an allowance for depreciation of 20% per annum for fair wear and tear. Where genuine damage or loss before termination of employment occurs, through no fault of the Employee, no deduction will be made. 3.4

  • UNIFORMS AND SAFETY EQUIPMENT 214. For employees required by the Appointing Officer to wear a uniform, beginning in fiscal year 2006-2007 and continuing for the duration of this Agreement, the City agrees to provide a uniform allowance each year in the amount of eight hundred fifty dollars ($850). The City will pay the uniform allowance in the payroll that includes September 1 of each year. Represented employees must be on duty status or approved leave on each September 1 to be eligible for the uniform allowance. Any eligible employee hired on or after March 1 will receive fifty percent (50%) of the uniform allowance that year.

  • UNIFORMS AND TOOLS The Employer agrees to furnish and supply all its employees, without cost, laundered aprons and uniforms and such tools as are necessary in the discharge of their work and also service such tools at no cost to the employees.

  • UNIFORMS, TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT 23.1 Uniforms‌ The Employer may require employees to wear uniforms. Where required, the Employer will determine and provide the uniform or an equivalent clothing allowance.   • Supplies and Equipment The Union and employees will not use state-purchased supplies or equipment to conduct union business or representational activities. This does not preclude the use of the telephone for representational activities if there is no cost to the Employer, the call is brief in duration and it does not disrupt or distract from the Employer’s business.

  • UNIFORMS AND CLOTHING (a) Each employee shall receive a standard uniform issue as defined in the Vermont State Police Operations Manual, which shall include a dress blouse.

  • Safe Equipment The City shall furnish and maintain in the best possible working condition, within the limits of its financial capability, the necessary tools, facilities, vehicles, supplies, and equipment required for members to safely carry out their duties. Members are responsible for reporting unsafe conditions or practices, for avoiding negligence, and for properly using and caring for tools, facilities, vehicles, supplies, and equipment provided by the City.

  • STANDARD EQUIPMENT All items of standard equipment which are provided by the OEM shall be furnished unless such items are expressly deleted by the Authorized User or are specified to be other than standard in the Mini-Bid. When Optional equipment is specified, all components listed in the OEM’s data book as being included with the Option shall be furnished.

  • CLOTHING AND EQUIPMENT (a) Employees required by the Employer to wear uniforms will be supplied with an adequate number of uniforms appropriate to the occupation free of cost to Employees. Such items are to remain the property of the Employer and be laundered and maintained by such Employer free of cost to the Employee.
