Common use of Union Committee Clause in Contracts

Union Committee. 12.1 The Corporation acknowledges the right of the Union to appoint or otherwise select a Union Committee composed of four (4) employees, plus the Local Union President and the Union’s National Representative and will recognize and deal with the said Committee with respect to any matter which properly arises from time to time during the term of this Agreement, including the negotiating of a new Collective Agreement. 12.2 The Union shall advise the Corporation of the personnel serving on this Committee, and it is understood that the President of Local No. 53 may, at his discretion, attend all meetings between the Corporation and the Union.

Union Committee. 12.1 a) The Corporation Employer acknowledges the right of the Union to appoint or otherwise select a Union Committee composed of four not more than three (43) employeesemployees of the Part-time Unit, plus which may include the Local local Union President and the Union’s National Representative or his designate, and will recognize and deal with the said Committee with respect to any matter which properly arises from time to time during the term of this Agreement, including the negotiating negotiation of a new Collective Agreement. 12.2 b) The Union shall advise the Corporation Employer of the personnel serving on this Committee, and it is understood that the President of Local No. 53 may, at his discretion, attend all meetings between the Corporation and the Union.
