UNION SECURITY AND DUES DEDUCTION. Section 3.1. The Union shall fairly represent all employees covered under this Agreement. Therefore, as a condition of employment, employees who are covered under this Agreement shall, within (Thirty) 30 days of employment or within (thirty) 30 days of the effective date of this Agreement (whichever is later), be afforded the opportunity to execute a union membership and payroll dues deduction form and their dues shall be deducted from their payroll checks. The card authorization shall be furnished by the FOP/OLCI Section 3.2. On a biweekly basis, the University shall deduct the dues established by the Union from the payroll check of each union member who has authorized such a deduction. The Union agrees to hold harmless the University for claims, demands, actions, complaints, suits or other forms of litigation or arbitration, whether or not the Union is a party, that shall arise by reason of actions taken by the University for the purpose of complying with the provisions of this article with respect or in reliance on any list, notice certification, affidavit or assignment furnished under any of such provisions by the Union. Section 3.3. The University shall provide a copy of this Agreement to bargaining unit employees at the University orientation program. The Union will be notified and provided with a schedule of the orientation program that new bargaining unit members will be attending. If the Union wishes to meet with these employees, it will be given the opportunity to do so on the day of the orientation program. Section 3.4. By the tenth (10th) day of each month, the University shall provide the Union with an alphabetical listing of all bargaining unit employees hired in the previous month, including their date of hire, classification, status, work location, rate of pay, home address and phone numbers. UNION SECURITY AND DUES DEDUCTION. Section 3.13.1 Employees not in the Union as of the execution date shall have 10 days after execution, and new hires shall have 10 days after completion of the probationary period within which to join the Union. The relationship between employees who choose not to join the Union and the Union shall be governed by the Union’s bylaws, including representation services and any associated fees.
3.2 The City shall deduct Union dues in the amount as determined by the Union membership pursuant to its Constitution and By-Laws upon receipt of authorization of from employees, who shall sign deduction cards in a form acceptable to the City. This deduction from each member shall be made on a weekly basis. The City has no obligation to pay the Union any dues payment for an employee if the employee has not signed said authorization card.
3.3 The City shall forward to the Secretary-Treasurer of the Union such deductions each month following the month of deductions.
3.4 In the event of a change in the amount of dues voted by the Union membership during the term of this Agreement, the Treasurer of the Union shall notify the Director of Human Resources in writing. After receipt of same, dues as therein noted shall be deemed to have been authorized to be withheld on behalf of the employees who had previously signed authorization forms. The City shall commence said deduction change within thirty (30) days after receiving written notification from the Union.
3.5 The City further agrees to make deductions from employee's paychecks for programs provided in Article 10, Insurance, upon the employee's written authorization to make such deductions.
3.6 The Union shall fairly represent indemnify and save the City harmless against all employees covered under this Agreement. A. The Union will furnish the FOPSchool district with deduction authorization cards signed in triplicate by the employee involved as or before each employee completes his/OLCI within two (2) pay periods OR LESS her probationary period. These cards will authorize the Board to make the necessary deductions each month on each employee following completion of his/her probationary period in accordance with the requirements of the requestNational Labor Relations Act of 1947 and amendments thereto.
B. A form comparable to the authorization for dues check-off shall be available for signature by employees who elect to have their equivalent service fees deducted, rather than membership dues.
C. Upon signed authorization of the employee, the Employer agrees to make all authorized deductions on the first pay period of each month and shall pay same to the Secretary-Treasurer of the MEA prior to the end of the month.
D. The Union will furnish the Employer with a check-off list in alphabetical order in duplicate each month, indication thereon the amount due for each employee. One copy of this list shall be returned with the stipulated amount to the Union prior to the end of the month.
Section 3 The Union agrees to hold indemnify and save the Board of Education, including such individual school board members and the administration, harmless the University for against any and all claims, demands, actions, complaints, suits or other forms of litigation or arbitration, whether or not the Union is a party, liability that shall arise out of or by reason of actions taken action by the University Board of Education for the purpose of complying with the provisions of this article with respect or in reliance on any list, notice certification, affidavit or assignment furnished under any of such provisions by the UnionArticle.
Section 3.34 The Union shall notify the Employer and the employee by certified mail of any employee who is thirty (30) working days in arrears in the payment of membership dues or service fees. UNION SECURITY AND DUES DEDUCTION. Section 3.13.1 The Employer agrees to the adoption of exclusive Union check off system, whereby Union dues or lawful, voluntary service chargesfees, as established by the Union, will be withheld from the employee’s pay at source in equal amounts from each pay, as the frequency of pay periods may require. 3.2 The Employer agrees that it will make such withholdings for each employee in the Union for whom the Union furnishes it a current signed written authorization for an assignment in respect to such withholdings. 3.3 The Union will furnish the Employer with a list of current regular monthly membership dues and lawful, voluntary service fees including include arrearages consistent with the dues deduction authorization and assignment.
3.4 The Union will indemnify and save the Employer harmless with respect to any claim, suit, judgment or other liability resulting from any deduction made from the employee’s pay. The Union shall fairly represent all employees covered under also indemnify and save harmless the Employer in any case where an individual has signed and delivered to the Union such authorization and assignment, but the Union has failed to notify the Employer thereof and accordingly deduction has not been made from the employee’s pay. Upon receipt of such request, the employer will notify the employee of her / his obligation to become or remain in good standing within fourteen (14) days of said notice or be discharged by the Hospital.
§2 The Hospital shall notify the Union in writing of each newly hired employee and the Hospital shall notify the Union of any change in the status of an employee within 14 (fourteen) days of employment or change of status. The notification shall contain the name, complete address, telephone number, pay rate, title of position, the shift, the hours to be worked and the unit of the newly hired employee or employee who has had a change in status.
§3 For each employee who so authorized, the Hospital will deduct from the wages due such employee the rate of dues fixed by the Union for such employee not later than twenty- eight (28) days following said deduction, the Hospital shall remit the dues deducted for all employees who have so authorized to the Union along with a list of the names of the employees from whom dues have been deducted and the amount deducted. All such authorizations shall remain in effect unless revoked by the employee within sixty (60) days written notice.
§4 It is understood that these requirements may be enforced only to the extent of requiring payment of an amount equal to dues and not actual Union membership.
§5 All authorizations for dues deductions as set forth above, shall be in the following form: Dues Deduction Form I, (Name of Employee), hereby authorize Kent Hospital to withhold from the salary due me the rate of dues fixed by the Union. I understand that this authorization may be afforded revoked by me upon sixty (60) days written notice to the opportunity to execute a union membership and payroll dues deduction form and their dues shall be deducted from their payroll checkstreasurer of the Union. The card In the absence of such notification, this authorization shall be furnished deemed to be continuous until revoked by me or until termination of my employment. §8 The Employer shall not be liable to the Union for the remittance or payment of any sum other than that constituting actual deductions made from the wages of employees. The Employer will endeavor to assist employees who have difficulty attending as a result from picket line activities or shall assign the employee to another location.
4.06 Where a strike is imminent for County Employees not included in this bargaining unit employees at the University orientation program. Section 3 The City agrees to deduct Management Union dues or service fees from the pay of employees who give written authorization to the City Controller’s Office for such deductions and to transmit the dues collected to the authorized Management Union Official designated in writing to the Controller of the City of New Haven by the President or Treasurer of the Management Union so long as this authorization is validly in effect and is not revoked by the employee.
Section 4 Deductions will be made once monthly. If an employee who is absent on account of sickness, work locationleave of absence, rate or for any other reason has no earnings due him/her for the month, no deductions will be made from that employee for that month. 4.04 The Employer agrees to notify the previous monthLead Union Xxxxxxx by e-mail of all discipline, including their date hiring, layoffs, recalls, suspensions and terminations of hireemployment of bargaining unit employees.
4.05 The Employer agrees to deduct on a monthly basis from the wages due to each employee covered by this Agreement from commencement of employment, classification, status, work location, rate a sum equal to the regular Union dues payable by the members of pay, home address and phone numbersthe Union. In addition, the Employer shall deduct Union dues from any retroactive wage payments. 4.08 The Employer agrees that at the same time that Income Tax (T-4) slips are made available, the Employer will work provide each person in the bargaining unit a T-4 slip for income tax purposes showing the amount of dues deducted in the previous year.
4.09 The Union agrees to save the Employer harmless and to indemnify the Employer with respect to any claim made against the Union in an effort to provide Employer by any employee or group of employees arising out of the monthly information on computer disk, instead deduction of paper copy, depending on computer compatibilityunion dues as herein provided.

Section 3.33. The Union may request that a Faculty member who fails to join the Union, maintain Union membership or pay a representation fee shall be dismissed. If the Union makes such a request, the Employer shall comply. Prior to any dismissal, the Faculty member shall be offered an opportunity within thirty (30) calendar days, following the written notification from the Union to the Employer requesting discharge, to pay the required dues, initiation fees, and/or representation fees that have not been tendered. If the Faculty member fails to pay within that time period, and the Union so verifies, the University shall dismiss the faculty member, provided, however, that no such dismissal shall take effect during a semester in which the faculty member is teaching a course or courses. In such case, dismissal will be at the conclusion of the semester.
Section 4. The University shall provide a copy of this Agreement further agrees to bargaining unit deduct voluntary contributions made by employees to the SEIU Local 509 Committee on Political Education (COPE) and to remit said contributions to the Union at the same time union dues and agency fees are remitted. Said contributions are strictly voluntary and can be in any amount as determined by the employee.
Section 5. Each payday, the University orientation programshall deduct from a faculty member’s wages a sum of dues and/or fees owed the Union and authorized under the federal labor law, provided the faculty member has furnished the University a written assignment executed in accordance with law. The Union will be notified provide to the University a suitable form for the authorization of this payroll deduction and a link to the form from the Union’s website. As to new Faculty, the University will include that form in his/her initial employment packet, or the link to the form on the Union’s web site, provided with a schedule of the orientation program that new bargaining unit members will be attending. If the Union wishes has provided the form or link to meet with these employees, it will be given the opportunity to do so on the day of the orientation programform.
Section 3.46. By the tenth (10th) day of each monthThe Union shall be ultimately responsible for obtaining executed written assignments from existing Faculty. However, the University shall provide the Union with an alphabetical listing of all bargaining unit employees hired in the previous month, including their date of hire, classification, status, work location, rate of pay, home address and phone numbers. In addition, the list shall include any promotions, demotions and transfers (with the employees' previous and new classifications and work locations), terminations and resignations, departures from the bargaining unit and leaves of absence. The University will work cooperate with the Union in an effort seeking compliance with this provision by notifying covered faculty at their time of hire of the existence of this agreement and by providing them with union membership and pay deduction materials supplied by the Union. Materials voluntarily completed by the faculty member and returned to provide the monthly information on computer diskUniversity shall be promptly remitted to the Union.
Section 7. Payment of Union dues and/or fees may be made via the check off procedure provided by this Article. It is agreed that the University shall assume no financial or other obligation arising out of the provisions of this Article. The Union hereby agrees that it shall indemnify, instead defend, and otherwise hold the University harmless against any and all claims, demands, actions or proceedings by a lecturer arising out of paper copyor by reason of action the University takes pursuant to this Article.
Section 8. The Union shall be entitled to have payroll deductions for membership dues from any Union member in the unit who indicates in writing that he/she wishes such deductions to be made.
Section 9. The Union shall establish and certify in writing to Tufts Support Services the amount of dues. The payroll deduction authorization form shall also be provided by the Union to the University.
Section 10. Each pay day, depending on computer compatibilitythe University shall deduct from the paycheck of each bargaining unit member the dues and/or fees owed to the Union, provided the faculty member has furnished the University prior to the payroll deadline a written assignment executed in accordance with law.
Section 11. On or about the 15th of the month following the deductions, monies so deducted by the University shall be transmitted by mail or electronically to the Union Treasurer or other Union designee.
a. Name and employee I.D. number;
b. Rate of pay and earnings that the dues or representation fee deduction is based on;
c. Month the deduction is based on;
d. Separately listed dues, fees, and COPE deductions; and,
e. If applicable, a reason dues are not deducted.
Section 12. A faculty member shall be free to revoke his/her dues check-off authorization at any time by notifying Tufts Support Services in writing. Following receipt of any check-off revocation, the University shall notify the Union, in writing, of the revocation.
Section 13. The Union may report missing or incorrect deductions as they become known. In the event that a payroll deduction for a faculty member is processed incorrectly, the University will correct the error in the next pay period or as soon as practicable after being informed of the error by either the lecturer or the Union.

UNION SECURITY AND DUES DEDUCTION. Section 3.13.1 The Employer agrees to the adoption of exclusive Union check off system, whereby Union dues or lawful, voluntary service fees, as established by the Union, will be withheld from the employee’s pay at source in equal amounts from each pay, as the frequency of pay periods may require. UNION SECURITY AND DUES DEDUCTION. Section 3.13.1 Employees not in the Union as of the execution date shall have 10 days after execution, and new hires shall have 10 days after completion of the probationary period within which to join the Union. The relationship between employees who choose not to join the Union and the Union shall be governed by the Union’s bylaws, including representation services and any associated fees.

4.2 It shall also be a condition of employment that all faculty members covered by this Agreement who are hired on or after its effective or execution date, whichever is later, shall, on or after the thirtieth (30th) work day following the beginning of such employment either become and remain members in good standing of the Union, or pay an agency fee as determined by the Union.
4.3 The card authorization Union may request that a Faculty member who fails to join the Union, maintain Union membership or pay a representation fee shall be furnished dismissed. If the Union makes such a request, the Employer shall comply. Prior to any dismissal, the Faculty member shall be offered an opportunity within thirty (30) calendar days, following the written notification from the Union to the Employer requesting discharge, to pay the required dues, initiation fees, and/or representation fees that have not been tendered. If the Faculty member fails to pay within that time period, and the Union so verifies, the University shall dismiss the faculty member, provided, however, that no such dismissal shall take effect during a semester in which the faculty member is teaching a course or courses. In such case, dismissal will be at the conclusion of the semester.
4.4 The University further agrees to deduct voluntary contributions made by employees to the SEIU Local 509 Committee on Political Education (COPE) and to remit said contributions to the Union at the same time union dues and agency fees are remitted. Said contributions are strictly voluntary and can be in any amount as determined by the FOP/OLCIemployee.
Section 3.2. 4.6 The Union shall notify be ultimately responsible for obtaining executed written assignments from existing Faculty. However, the FOP/OLCI within two (2) pay periods OR LESS University shall cooperate with the Union in seeking compliance with this provision by notifying covered faculty at their time of hire of the requestexistence of this agreement and by providing them with union membership and pay deduction materials supplied by the Union. Materials voluntarily completed by the faculty member and returned to the University shall be promptly remitted to the Union.
4.7 Payment of Union dues and/or fees may be made via the check off procedure provided by this Article. It is agreed that the University shall assume no financial or other obligation arising out of the provisions of this Article. The Union hereby agrees to that it shall indemnify, defend, and otherwise hold harmless the University for harmless against any and all claims, demands, actions, complaints, suits actions or other forms proceedings by a lecturer arising out of litigation or arbitration, whether or not the Union is a party, that shall arise by reason of actions taken action the University takes pursuant to this Article.
4.8 The Union shall be entitled to have payroll deductions for membership dues from any Union member in the unit who indicates in writing that they wish such deductions to be made.
4.9 The Union shall establish and certify in writing to Tufts Support Services the amount of dues. The payroll deduction authorization form shall also be provided by the University for Union to the purpose of complying with the provisions of this article with respect or in reliance on any list, notice certification, affidavit or assignment furnished under any of such provisions by the UnionUniversity.
Section 3.3. The University shall provide a copy of this Agreement to bargaining unit employees at the University orientation program. The Union will be notified and provided with a schedule of the orientation program that new bargaining unit members will be attending. If the Union wishes to meet with these employees, it will be given the opportunity to do so on the day of the orientation program.
Section 3.4. UNION SECURITY AND DUES DEDUCTION. Section 3.13.1 Employees not in the Union as of the execution date shall have 10 days after execution, and new hires shall have 10 days after completion of their probationary period, within which to join the Union. The relationship between employees who choose not to join the Union and the Union shall be governed by the Union’s bylaws, including representation services and any associated fees.
3.2 The City shall deduct Union dues on a weekly basis in the amount as determined by the Union membership pursuant to its Constitution and By-laws upon receipt of authorization from employees, who shall sign deduction cards in a form acceptable to the City, a sample copy of which is appended as Appendix A. Should As an express condition of the employer receive notice from University's agreement to grant a bargaining unit member wishing fair share fee arrangement to cease dues deduction and withdraw from FOP/OLCI membershipthe Union, the Employer shall notify the FOP/OLCI within two (2) pay periods OR LESS of the request. The Union agrees to hold harmless the University for claims, demands, actions, complaints, suits or other forms of litigation or arbitration, whether or not the Union is a party, that shall arise by reason of actions taken by the University for the purpose of complying with the provisions of this article with respect tothe collection of fair share fees or in reliance on any list, notice certification, affidavit or assignment furnished under any of such provisions by the Union. UNION SECURITY AND DUES DEDUCTION. Section 3.1A. All members covered by this Agreement upon hire or after completing Academy, whichever comes second, shall select one of the following options with respect to their IBPO membership:

UNION SECURITY AND DUES DEDUCTION. Section 3.1A. The Union authorizes the Employer, and the Employer agrees to deduct monthly dues due to the Union from each employee covered by this Agreement from wages due to the employee. UNION SECURITY AND DUES DEDUCTION. Section 3.1A. The Union authorizes the Employer, and the Employer agrees to deduct monthly dues due to the Union from each employee covered by this Agreement from wages due to the employee. Section 3. The Union will be solely responsible for obtaining deduction authorizations from existing Faculty Members and submitting such authorizations to MCAD’s payroll department.
Section 4. MCAD shall assume no financial or other obligation arising out of the provisions of this Article. The Union hereby agrees to that it shall defend, indemnify, and otherwise hold MCAD harmless the University for against any and all claims, demands, actions, complaints, suits actions or other forms proceedings by a Faculty Member arising out of litigation or arbitration, whether or not the Union is a party, that shall arise by reason of actions taken action MCAD takes pursuant to this Article.
Section 5. On or about the 20th of the month following the authorized deductions, monies deducted by MCAD shall be transmitted by mail or electronically to the University for Union, provided the purpose Union has submitted sufficient instructions to MCAD as to the amount to be deducted and the logistics of complying with transmission to the provisions Union.
Section 6. Prior to any dismissal, the Faculty Member shall be offered an opportunity, within thirty (30) calendar days following the written notification from the Union to MCAD requesting discharge, to pay the required dues or representation fees that have not been tendered. If the Faculty Member fails to pay within that time period, and the Union so verifies, MCAD shall dismiss the Faculty Member, provided, however, that no such dismissal shall take effect during an academic year in which the Faculty Member is teaching a course or courses. In such case, dismissal shall be at the conclusion of the academic year.
Section 8. A Faculty Member shall be free to revoke their voluntary contribution authorization as defined in Section 2 by notifying the Union in writing. Such deductions shall continue until instruction to cease payroll deductions is given in writing by the Faculty Member to the Union. Following receipt of any check-off revocation, the Union shall notify MCAD, in writing, of the revocation.
Section 9. The Union may report missing or incorrect deductions as they become known. In the event that a payroll deduction for a Faculty Member is processed incorrectly, MCAD will correct the error as soon as possible following its being informed of the error by either the Faculty Member or the Union. If deductions have been withheld where they are not owed, the Union shall promptly refund to the Faculty Member any dues found to have been over-deducted and transmitted to the Union and provide a copy of this Agreement such refund to bargaining unit employees at the University orientation program. The Union will be notified and provided with a schedule of the orientation program that new bargaining unit members will be attending. If the Union wishes to meet with these employees, it will be given the opportunity to do so on the day of the orientation programMCAD.

UNION SECURITY AND DUES DEDUCTION. Section 3.14.01 The Employer will supply the Chief Xxxxxxx or alternate with the names of any new Employees. Said contributions are strictly voluntary and can be in any amount as determined by the FOP/OLCIFaculty Member. Authorization forms submitted to the University will be processed prospectively on the next payroll and not retroactively.
Section 3.2. On a biweekly basis4.5 Each payday, the University shall deduct from a Faculty Member's wages a sum of dues and/or fees owed the dues established Union and authorized under the federal labor law, provided the Faculty Member has furnished the University a written assignment executed in accordance with law. The Union will provide to the University a suitable form for the authorization of this payroll deduction. As to new Faculty Members, the University will include that form, or a link to its electronic counterpart, in their initial employment packet. Authorization forms submitted to the University will be processed prospectively on the next payroll and not retroactively.
4.6 The Union shall be ultimately responsible for obtaining executed written assignments from existing Faculty Members. The Union may obtain these authorizations electronically. However, the University shall cooperate with the Union in seeking compliance with this provision by notifying covered Faculty Members at their time of hire of the existence of this Agreement and by providing them with union membership and pay deduction materials supplied by the Union from Union. Materials voluntarily completed by the payroll check of each union member who has authorized such a deduction. These deductions Faculty Member and returned to the University shall be transmitted promptly remitted to the Union.
4.7 Payment of Union dues and/or fees may be made via the check off procedure provided by this Article. It is agreed that the University shall assume no later than the tenth (10th) day financial or other obligation arising out of the following monthprovisions of this Article. The Union hereby agrees that it shall indemnify, ACH payment defend and otherwise hold the University harmless against any and all claims, demands, actions or proceedings by a Faculty Member arising out of or by regular U.S. mail reason of action the University takes pursuant to this Article.
4.8 The Union shall be entitled to have payroll deductions for membership dues from any Union member in the FOP/LCI. 000 Xxxx Xxxx Xxxxxxunit who indicates in writing that they wish such deductions to be made.
4.9 Each year, Xxxxxxxx, Xxxx 00000-0000, together with an alphabetized list of all employees the Union shall establish and the amount deducted from each. A dues deduction authorization is irrevocable for a period of one (1) year from August 1 preceding the date of its delivery certify in writing to the University's Senior Director of Tufts Support Services the amount of dues and agency fees applicable to the bargaining unit. In addition, or until the employee moves into a classification not represented by the Union or employment is terminated (whichever occurs sooner). This authorization shall be automatically renewed each August 1 thereafter and shall be irrevocable for said periods of one (1) year unless written notice revoking such authorization is given will communicate any caps applicable to dues and/or fees applicable to the bargaining unit. The University within will adjust prospectively the first twenty (20) days amount of July. Should the employer receive notice from a bargaining unit member wishing to cease dues deduction and withdraw from FOP/OLCI membership, the Employer shall notify the FOP/OLCI and/or fees it deducts within two (2) pay periods OR LESS of receiving written notice from the Union that these amounts have changed. The most current payroll deduction authorization form for any deductions authorized under this Article shall also be provided by the Union to the University.
4.10 Each payday, the University shall deduct from the paycheck of each bargaining unit member the dues and/or fees owed to the Union, provided the Faculty Member has furnished the University a written assignment executed in accordance with law and has been properly established in the University's payroll system.
4.11 On or about the fifteenth (15th) of the request. The Union agrees to hold harmless month following the University for claimsdeductions, demands, actions, complaints, suits or other forms of litigation or arbitration, whether or not the Union is a party, that shall arise by reason of actions taken monies so deducted by the University shall be transmitted by mail or electronically to the Union Treasurer or other Union designee. Such deductions shall continue until instruction to cease payroll deductions is given in writing by the Faculty Member consistent with section 4.12 below.
4.12 A Faculty Member shall be free to revoke their dues check-off authorization at any time by notifying the Union and the University by contacting both Tufts Support Services (xxx@xxxxx.xxx) and the Faculty Affairs Office in writing (e-mail is acceptable).
4.13 The Union may report missing or incorrect deductions to Tufts Support Services (xxx@xxxxx.xxx) and the Faculty Affairs Office in writing as they become known, and shall encourage the members of the bargaining unit to raise any errors with dues, fees, or contribution deductions in a timely manner with those same offices.
A. The University will correct payroll deductions processed incorrectly and will endeavor to correct a payroll deduction error of which it becomes aware -- whether through its own review or by notification of a Faculty Member or the Union -- during the next pay period, or within a reasonable amount of time based on administrative requirements and the circumstances.
B. Should the University fail to make the above deduction for two (2) consecutive pay periods notwithstanding its receipt of a valid written authorization and receipt of written notice of its error, the Union may issue notice to the University that it shall be liable to the Union for the amount thereof. This shall not constitute a waiver of the right of the University to collect or recover the monies directly from the Faculty Member.
4.14 The Union and the University agree to work collaboratively to address any concerns arising under this Article and to meet and discuss any process related issues or concerns that may arise for the purpose of complying with the provisions of ensuring compliance under this article with respect or in reliance on any list, notice certification, affidavit or assignment furnished under any of such provisions by the UnionArticle.
Section 3.3. The University shall provide a copy of this Agreement to bargaining unit employees at the University orientation program. The Union will be notified and provided with a schedule of the orientation program that new bargaining unit members will be attending. If the Union wishes to meet with these employees, it will be given the opportunity to do so on the day of the orientation program.
Section 3.4. By the tenth (10th) day of each month, the University shall provide the Union with an alphabetical listing of all bargaining unit employees hired in the previous month, including their date of hire, classification, status, work location, rate of pay, home address and phone numbers. In addition, the list shall include any promotions, demotions and transfers (with the employees' previous and new classifications and work locations), terminations and resignations, departures from the bargaining unit and leaves of absence. The University will work with the Union in an effort to provide the monthly information on computer disk, instead of paper copy, depending on computer compatibility.
