Common use of Unpaid Leaves of Absence Clause in Contracts

Unpaid Leaves of Absence. Employees may apply for unpaid leaves of absence for any period of consecutive days. Such leaves of absence must be approved by the employee’s immediate supervisor and the Superintendent of Schools, and are wholly discretionary on the part of the immediate supervisor and the Superintendent of Schools.
