Common use of Unpaid Xxxxx’s leave Clause in Contracts

Unpaid Xxxxx’s leave. In addition to paid Personal/Xxxxx’s Leave, an casual employee and an employee who has exhausted his/her paid Personal/Xxxxx’s Leave entitlements is entitled to up to two days of unpaid Xxxxx’s Leave for each occasion when a member of the employee’s immediate family or household requires his/her care or support because of personal illness or injury or an unexpected emergency. The unpaid leave can be taken in a single unbroken period of up to two days, or if the employee or supervisor agree, in separate periods.
