Vested Rights Permittee waives any and all “vested rights” (as that term is used in California land use law) the Permittee may have or later acquire, in law or equity, concerning the Property or the Project except those specifically stated herein. Nothing contained in this Agreement, nor in any of the permits, approvals, plans, inspections, certificates, documents, licenses, or any other actions taken by the County regarding the Project shall be construed to grant Permittee any vesting of rights for future development or use of the Property or to conduct commercial cannabis activities except as specifically stated herein; and
Remuneration The Company agrees to pay the Warrant Agent reasonable remuneration for its services as such Warrant Agent hereunder and shall, pursuant to its obligations under this Agreement, reimburse the Warrant Agent upon demand for all expenditures that the Warrant Agent may reasonably incur in the execution of its duties hereunder.
Accrued Rights Termination or expiration of this Agreement for any reason shall be without prejudice to any rights that shall have accrued to the benefit of a Party prior to such termination or expiration. Such termination or expiration shall not relieve a Party from obligations that are expressly indicated to survive the termination or expiration of this Agreement.
Full Compensation Subrecipient agrees to accept the specified compensation as set forth in this Contract as full remuneration for performing all services and furnishing all staffing and materials required, for any reasonably unforeseen difficulties which may arise or be encountered in the execution of the services until acceptance, for risks connected with the services, and for performance by the Subrecipient of all its duties and obligations hereunder.
REMUNERATION AND BENEFITS 3.1 Manitoba shall pay to Employee as remuneration for her services, within the Executive Assistant to the Minister (EXM) classification, a basic annual salary of $58,271 payable in equal bi-weekly installments of $2,233.73, at the accepted regular Manitoba Civil Service pay periods, pro-rated where necessary for any shorter period.
Employee Employee’s rights and obligations under this Agreement shall not be transferable by Employee by assignment or otherwise, without the prior written consent of the Company; provided, however, that if Employee shall die, all amounts then payable to Employee hereunder shall be paid in accordance with the terms of this Agreement to Employee’s devisee, legatee, or other designee, or if there be no such designee, to Employee’s estate.
Wages A transferring employee will be paid in accordance with the collective agreement of the designated employer.
An Employee (other than a casual employee) required to attend for jury service during ordinary working hours will be reimbursed by the Company an amount equal to the difference between the amount paid in respect of the employee’s attendance for such jury service and the amount of wage the employee would have received in respect of the ordinary time the employee would have worked had the employee not been on jury service.
Exempt Employee An exempt employee is one who is not eligible for overtime. Exempt employees are in classifications in Appendix A shown as Code 3.
Off Duty Employment Employees may engage in off duty employment that is consistent with University policy and state law.
