Unused Sick Leave Credits. 148 A laid-off employee whose recall rights have expired and who is not otherwise eligible for payout of accrued sick leave under Paragraph 289 and 291 of this Agreement may receive partial pay ment for unused sick leave credits according to the schedule below. Unused Sick Leave Credits. Employees employed before January 1, 1981, shall retain their right to payment for unused sick leave credits upon retirement provided such payment does not exceed seventy (70) percent of the accumulated sick credits calculated at the rate in effect when leaving, the maximum not to exceed six (6) months wages.

  • Sick Leave Credits Regular employees who have completed their probationary period will accrue sick leave credits at the rate of one day per month to a maximum of 156 days. Upon completion of their probationary period, an employee will be credited with sick leave back to the employee's starting date. Upon request, an employee will be advised in writing of the balance of their sick leave credits.

  • Sick Leave Credit ‌ All employees will be able to draw on a block of nine days sick leave when they commence employment.
