Up to one year of service. An employee commencing employment during the first 15 days of the month shall earn two- thirds (2/3) working tours, and an employee commencing employment on or after the 16th day of the month shall earn one-third (1/3) working tours for said month. Thereafter, sick leave with pay shall accrue to any full-time employee on the basis of two-thirds (2/3) working tours per month during the remainder of the first calendar year of employment, and two-thirds (2/3) working tours per month during the remainder of the first calendar year of employment after initial appointment rounded to the nearest (6) six hour increment as follows: Month 1: 6 hours Month 7: 6 hours Month 2: 12 hours Month 8: 12 hours Month 3: 6 hours Month 9: 6 hours Month 4: 6 hours Month 10: 6 hours Month 5: 12 hours Month 11: 12 hours Month 6: 6 hours Month 12: 6 hours

  • Year of Service An Employee must complete at least Hours of Service during a Vesting Computation Period to receive credit for a Year of Service under Article V. [Note: The number may not exceed 1,000. If left blank, the requirement is 1,000.]
