Employees may elect to use available leave accruals in conjunction with wage replacement benefits to receive no more than 100% of their salary. Employees who are not receiving wage replacement benefits must use available leave accruals to maintain at least thirty-two (32) hours of paid time per pay period, and must exhaust all available leave accruals prior to taking leave without pay. Use of leave accruals is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of this MOU, to the extent permitted by state and federal law.
