Common use of Vacation Buy Back Clause in Contracts

Vacation Buy Back. Employees who have scheduled and taken a minimum of 144 hours of vacation shall be permitted to receive the cash value of up to 72 hours of unused but accrued vacation. The cash value will be determined by multiplying the hours to be paid by the employee’s actual hourly rate of pay.
