Common use of Vacation Buy Out Clause in Contracts

Vacation Buy Out. An employee may by written request elect to be paid for up to a maximum of two (2) weeks of accumulated vacation per calendar year. The written request must be received by the Sheriff’s Department Office Manager immediately following the last payroll of the year.
