Visitation Days. All teachers are allowed to take one (1) day each year to visit other schools or to attend education conferences with prior approval. Additional days may be granted at the discretion of the Board.
Visitation Days. A. Each employee shall have one (1) paid day every other year for visitation to other districts or other classrooms within Sunnyside School District in order to observe instruction. The day shall be within the student calendar year.
B. The Superintendent may grant the employee the prerogative of visiting for one-half (1/2) day every year, upon request.
Visitation Days. Two days for the purpose of observing other school programs.
Visitation Days. Unit members may be provided with a substitute teacher one day each year in order that they might visit another school. The visit must be approved in advance by the administration.
Visitation Days. Each teacher will receive upon request one (1) visitation day or two (2) conference days per year. However, the Superintendent reserves the right to refuse any individual request. Said request must be made in writing to the Superintendent at least one (1) week before the requested leave and each teacher will be asked to submit a written report concerning each day of visitation or conference. These days are to be used to visit other schools or to attend conferences to gain information that may prove helpful in the classroom.
Visitation Days. A teacher may apply to his/her building principal to visit classrooms in the Penfield system or in other school systems.
Visitation Days. Visitation days may be granted to a unit member upon request to the District Superintendent for the purpose of observing and strengthening the instructional program of the District. Such visitation will occur with no loss of pay or accrued time.
Visitation Days. Two days each year may be used for visitation purposes. Such visitation days should be used to gather information needed to improve District 204 programs and instruction. Visitation days must be approved in advance by the Supervising Administrator. The final decision as to approval or disapproval shall remain with the Supervising Administrator. A follow up report may be required.
Visitation Days. 15.1.1 The Building Principal may establish visitation days upon written request from members of their staff to allow attendance in classrooms of master employees.
15.1.2 The request shall outline all particulars of the proposed visit.
15.1.3 Any employee authorized to take visitation days shall present a written report to the Building Principal so that the educational value of the visit can be shared with the entire staff.
15.1.4 The written report shall be presented within fourteen (14) calendar days.
Visitation Days. Unit members may be granted two (2) visitation days per year upon reasonable request without loss of sick leave or compensation. Additional visitation maybe directed by the Superintendent when, at his/her determination, the teacher and/or students will benefit.
