Visiting Students. Each institution may send students to the other institution in appropriate fields of study in order to participate in study or research programs. These programs will follow the educational system and regulations of the Host Institution. Visiting students shall be required to comply with the applicable rules and regulations of the Host Institution.

Visiting Students. The number of members of the Hall who may be admitted as Visiting Students at the University (and who must accordingly be entered in the University’s Register of Visiting Students) shall not in any one year exceed such number as Council may specify for the Hall from time to time.
Visiting Students. On the recommendation of a Department / School, a student from another institution who plans to complete a portion of their research at Acadia, may be appointed as a Visiting Student. The Department shall make the recommendation to the Xxxx of the Faculty, specifying the period of time for such an appointment. The recommendation should include consideration for Lab use & office space where applicable. It should also mention requests for computer account and access to building, office and labs where applicable. (This appointment should be discussed at a department meeting). A copy of the student’s CV and proposed research plan would be an asset, although not required. The Department will provide the visiting student with a computer account and e-mail privileges, as well as borrowing privileges at the Xxxxxxx Memorial Library through a temporary user card.

Related to Visiting Students

  • Transporting Students Teachers shall not be required to transport a student in a private vehicle on behalf of the school.

  • Students Payments which a student or business apprentice who is or was immediately before visiting a Contracting State a resident of the other Contracting State and who is present in the first-mentioned State solely for the purpose of his education or training receives for the purpose of his maintenance, education or training shall not be taxed in that State, provided that such payments arise from sources outside that State.

  • Summer Students a) Summer Students shall not be employed while Employees on Seniority List A or B are on lay off in their respective trades.

  • PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATIONAL IMPROVEMENT A. The Board agrees to implement the following:

  • Teams One team for the purposes of the Event shall consist of one Vehicle. Each Vehicle can contain a maximum of three Team Members, provided such Team Members have entered into a Team Entry Agreement with the Company or have otherwise agreed in writing to participate in the Event upon and subject to the Terms of Entry and the Event Rules. For the avoidance of doubt, it is the sole responsibility of each Team to inform themselves of the maximum numbers of persons legally permitted to travel in the Vehicle under Relevant Law. Vehicles: Rickshaws The Company shall provide each Team with the contact details of the Approved Hirer who will be able to provide each Team with a Vehicle for use in the Event, subject to the Team entering into an agreement (the “Borrowing Agreementâ€) with the Hirer outlining the terms of use of the Vehicle. Should the Vehicle not be delivered to the Designated Finish Point up to 3 days after the date of the official Finish Line Party, then the team will be liable for either the cost to retrieve the Vehicle and/or the "Hire Costs" beyond this date. Each Vehicle will be of a similar specification to that outlined in Schedule 4 to the Team Entry Agreement. For the avoidance of doubt, the Company shall make no representations or warranties as to the suitability of the Approved Hirer or of the Vehicle for participation in the Event and any rights or warranties which a Team may have or be granted in relation to the Vehicle shall be limited to those contained in the Rental Agreement or implied by any Relevant Law.

  • MEDICALLY FRAGILE STUDENTS 1. If a teacher will be providing instructional or other services to a medically fragile student, the teacher or another adult who will be present when the instruction or other services are being provided will be advised of the steps to be taken in the event an emergency arises relating to the student's medical condition.
