Vulnerable Adults. Social Care In the absence of any generic or primary care based social work provision, the social workers in the CMHT will retain responsibility for meeting those social care needs of vulnerable adults that meet the Council’s FACS eligibility criteria. Such adults may not have involvement with a consultant or with other members of the integrated team. They will typically be people who may present a danger to themselves or others if they do not receive a service but whose situation may fall between specialist teams. The choice of a mental health social worker involvement will relate to the skills needed to work with that person. The CMHT Team Manager will monitor the caseload allocated to individual workers and make decisions about the urgency and priority of referrals to CMHTs Team Managers are accountable for the delivery of the service, resource allocation and caseload management. The Team Manager will ensure that they are aware of, and monitoring, the total team caseload through referral allocation, assessment and case reviews undertaken and, through individual supervision, team meetings and all available team data. The Team Manager will be responsible for ensuring that work undertaken in relation to social care assessments and any ensuing provision as in accordance with Salford City Council’s FACS standards and requirements. Vulnerable Adults. 5.1 The Safeguarding Adults Policy, Procedure and Good Practice Guidance, defines a “Vulnerable Adult” as: Adults who are in receipt of, or may be eligible for, community care services.
Vulnerable Adults. Advisors must be aware of the policy, procedure and pathway for referral of vulnerable adults.
Vulnerable Adults. In acknowledging that some service users would fall outside of the eligibility criteria for learning disability services wherever the line is drawn, there is a need for a clear definition of other “vulnerable adults” who may, on occasion, qualify for services which are best provided within the learning disability specialism. In these cases the criteria would be: • a person who is believed to have a learning disability or borderline intelligence but does not have a definite diagnosis and • is at immediate risk from death, serious harm, serious exploitation or neglect and • help is not available from any other service In such cases, help and advice will be provided on a short term basis with the aim of moving service users out of specialist learning disability services into mainstream services as soon as possible This service user group is not entitled to ongoing services from the learning disability specialism and intervention from specialist learning disability services in relation to people who do not meet the normal eligibility criteria will be exceptional

  • SAFEGUARDING CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE ADULTS 8.1 The Service Provider will have ultimate responsibility for the management and control of any Regulated Activity provided under this agreement and for the purposes of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Xxx 0000.

  • Abuse and Neglect of Children and Vulnerable Adults: Abuse Registry Party agrees not to employ any individual, to use any volunteer or other service provider, or to otherwise provide reimbursement to any individual who in the performance of services connected with this agreement provides care, custody, treatment, transportation, or supervision to children or to vulnerable adults if there has been a substantiation of abuse or neglect or exploitation involving that individual. Party is responsible for confirming as to each individual having such contact with children or vulnerable adults the non-existence of a substantiated allegation of abuse, neglect or exploitation by verifying that fact though (a) as to vulnerable adults, the Adult Abuse Registry maintained by the Department of Disabilities, Aging and Independent Living and (b) as to children, the Central Child Protection Registry (unless the Party holds a valid child care license or registration from the Division of Child Development, Department for Children and Families). See 33 V.S.A. §4919(a)(3) and 33 V.S.A. §6911(c)(3).

  • Critical Illness Three (3) days per year, with pay, shall be granted in the case of a critical illness or accident to a member of the employee's immediate family as defined in Section 9.4.2. A statement by the physician verifying the need for the employee to be present with the immediate family member shall be attached to the absence form.

  • Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Vulnerable Adults The Supplier will comply with all applicable legislation and codes of practice, including, where applicable, all legislation and statutory guidance relevant to the safeguarding and protection of children and vulnerable adults and with the British Council’s Child Protection Policy, as notified to the Supplier and amended from time to time, which the Supplier acknowledges may include submitting to a check by the UK Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) or the equivalent local service; in addition, the Supplier will ensure that, where it engages any other party to supply any of the Services under this Agreement, that that party will also comply with the same requirements as if they were a party to this Agreement.

  • Vulnerability Management BNY Mellon will maintain a documented process to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities affecting its systems used to provide the services. BNY Mellon will classify security vulnerabilities using industry recognized standards and conduct continuous monitoring and testing of its networks, hardware and software including regular penetration testing and ethical hack assessments. BNY Mellon will remediate identified security vulnerabilities in accordance with its process.

  • Reporting of Non-Force Majeure Events Each Party (the “Notifying Party”) shall notify the other Parties when the Notifying Party becomes aware of its inability to comply with the provisions of this Agreement for a reason other than a Force Majeure event. The Parties agree to cooperate with each other and provide necessary information regarding such inability to comply, including the date, duration, reason for the inability to comply, and corrective actions taken or planned to be taken with respect to such inability to comply. Notwithstanding the foregoing, notification, cooperation or information provided under this Article shall not entitle the Party receiving such notification to allege a cause for anticipatory breach of this Agreement.

  • Infrastructure Vulnerability Scanning Supplier will scan its internal environments (e.g., servers, network devices, etc.) related to Deliverables monthly and external environments related to Deliverables weekly. Supplier will have a defined process to address any findings but will ensure that any high-risk vulnerabilities are addressed within 30 days.

  • Serious Illness Should a participant be unable to take the leave when scheduled because of serious injury or illness occurring before commencement of the leave, he/she may cancel the leave and receive payment as in Article 12.8.3.9 or, with the consent of the College, defer the leave to a time mutually agreeable, not to exceed one (1) year.

  • Behaviour No obscene or insulting language or disorderly behaviour shall be permitted. This includes any form of entertainment that may be considered lewd or inappropriate for a public place or that may offend or cause embarrassment to others.

  • Geological and archaeological finds It is expressly agreed that mining, geological or archaeological rights do not form part of this Agreement with the Contractor for the Works, and the Contractor hereby acknowledges that it shall not have any mining rights or interest in the underlying minerals, fossils, antiquities, structures or other remnants or things either of particular geological or archaeological interest and that such rights, interest and property on or under the Site shall vest in and belong to the Authority or the concerned Government Instrumentality. The Contractor shall take all reasonable precautions to prevent its workmen or any other person from removing or damaging such interest or property and shall inform the Authority forthwith of the discovery thereof and comply with such instructions as the concerned Government Instrumentality may reasonably give for the removal of such property. For the avoidance of doubt, it is agreed that any reasonable expenses incurred by the Contractor hereunder shall be reimbursed by the Authority. It is also agreed that the Authority shall procure that the instructions hereunder are issued by the concerned Government Instrumentality within a reasonable period.
