In lieu of all benefits except for shift differential, lead pay, callback pay, standby pay, and longevity steps after October 5, 2003, full-time and benefit eligible part-time employees, .6 FTE and above, may elect a fifteen percent (15%) wage premium. This election must occur within the first ten (10) days of employment or within ten (10) days of the signing of this Agreement, whichever is later, or annually on dates designated in advance by the Employer, providing the employee presents the Employer with written evidence that the employee is covered by health insurance elsewhere, and providing the application for insurance coverage is approved by the insurance carriers.
