PAYMENT OF WAGES AND ALLOWANCES 26:01 Pay Days
Wages and Allowances The wages contained herein at Clause 7 – Wages Schedules will be in lieu of the wages described in other Appendices of this Agreement but are to be read in conjunction with Clause 4 of this Appendix. The allowances will apply as contained in Appendix A unless mentioned otherwise in this Appendix. 3.1 An employee working under this Appendix will receive the wage rates and allowances as described below when employed in the cottage sector/ commercial for service and maintenance only or as otherwise agreed by the parties, that is, the employer, the ETU and the majority of employees.
Wages and Salaries The wages and salaries for Unit employees have been negotiated in good faith between the Union and the District and shall be as set forth in Appendix A of this Agreement. The wages and salaries set forth in Appendix A are intended to, and do, meet any prevailing wage obligations which are or may be imposed upon the District.
Payment of Annual Leave Upon resignation, retirement, or dismissal of any employee in the bargaining unit, he/she shall receive a sum equal to the number of days of annual leave remaining to his/her credit, provided that any or all amounts may be applied to offset any amounts owed the state by the employee. In the event of death of an employee while in the bargaining unit, a sum equal to the number of days annual leave remaining shall be paid to his/her estate.
Wages and Classification Premiums Provisions under these headings shall remain unchanged and are repeated as 20.04, except to the extent that the Wage Schedule referred to in the hospital's expiring collective agreement shall be adjusted and retroactivity shall be paid in accordance with the Implementation Agreement signed.
WAGES AND CLASSIFICATIONS 42.01 The classification and wages for persons covered by the Collective Agreement shall, during the term of the Agreement, be as set out in Schedule "D" attached hereto. 42.02 Where a Child and Youth Worker II or III, who has a minimum of three (3) years continuous service in his/her current position wishes, for the purposes of career development and experience to apply for a Child and Youth Worker position which is classified one level lower, s/he may apply to the Chief Human Resources Officer to have this position considered as a secondment for a maximum of one (1) year through which s/he will retain his/her current salary. (a) If a new job is established by the Employer, the Joint Job Evaluation Committee will evaluate the job. In circumstances where it is impossible for either party to convene the Joint Job Evaluation Committee, or a rating cannot be agreed upon prior to the posting of a newly created job, the Employer will set the initial wage rate. It is agreed that the newly created job will be reviewed by the Joint Job Evaluation Committee no later than three (3) months after the date that the new job is posted, unless otherwise agreed. Any increase in rate of pay resulting from such a review shall be retroactive to the start date(s) of the employee(s) in the new position. In the event that the rate of pay decreases, any decrease shall not apply to present incumbents. If the parties are unable to agree upon the rate of pay, the procedure set out in Article 42.04 shall apply. At the request of either party, all newly created jobs shall be re-reviewed by the Joint Job Evaluation Committee within twelve (12) months of the start date of the new job. Any increase in rate of pay resulting from such a review shall be retroactive to the start of the new job. In the event that the rate of pay decreases, any decrease shall not apply to present incumbents. If the parties are unable to agree upon the rate of pay, the procedure set out in Article 42.04 shall apply. (b) Where the duties and responsibilities of an employee’s job are changed by the Employer in a substantive manner, so that a job is no longer properly classified and the rate should be changed, either the employee or the Employer may request that the job be reviewed by the Joint Job Evaluation Committee. Any such request must be made within six (6) months of the changes to the duties and responsibilities being made by the Employer. The job will be reviewed by the Joint Job Evaluation Committee no later than three (3) months after the request. It is understood that the cumulative effect of small changes may result in change “in a substantive manner”. Any increase in rate of pay resulting from such a review shall be retroactive to the date that the request was made which resulted in a re- classification. In the event that the rate of pay decreases, any decrease shall not apply to present incumbents. If the parties are unable to agree upon the rate of pay under a changed job as referred to above, the procedure set out in Article 42.04 shall apply with the appropriate changes. No job will be reviewed under section (b) more than once every twelve
Wages and Benefits Wages, performance-sharing opportunities and benefits as identified in this Section 2 are considered to be ongoing obligations and will terminate at the extended expiration of local agreements, rather than at the expiration of this Agreement.
Wages A transferring employee will be paid in accordance with the collective agreement of the designated employer.
Certain Compensation Other than in connection with a Conversion of an Affected Loan, Borrower shall pay to Administrative Agent for the account of the applicable Bank, upon the request of such Bank through Administrative Agent which request includes a calculation of the amount(s) due, such amount or amounts as shall be sufficient (in the reasonable opinion of such Bank) to compensate it for any loss, cost or expense which such Bank reasonably determines is attributable to: (1) any payment or prepayment of a LIBOR Loan or Bid Rate Loan made by such Bank, or any Conversion of a LIBOR Loan (or conversion of the rate of interest on a Bid Rate Loan) made by such Bank, in any such case on a date other than the last day of an applicable Interest Period, whether by reason of acceleration or otherwise; (2) any failure by Borrower for any reason to Convert a LIBOR Loan or a Base Rate Loan or to Continue a LIBOR Loan, as the case may be, to be Converted or Continued by such Bank on the date specified therefor in the relevant notice under Section 2.14; (3) any failure by Borrower to borrow (or to qualify for a borrowing of) a LIBOR Loan or Bid Rate Loan which would otherwise be made hereunder on the date specified in the relevant Election notice under Section 2.14 or Bid Rate Quote acceptance under Section 2.02(e) given or submitted by Borrower; or (4) any failure by Borrower to prepay a LIBOR Loan or Bid Rate Loan on the date specified in a notice of prepayment. Without limiting the foregoing, such compensation shall include an amount equal to the present value (using as the discount rate an interest rate equal to the rate determined under (2) below) of the excess, if any, of (1) the amount of interest (less the Applicable Margin) which otherwise would have accrued on the principal amount so paid, prepaid, Converted or Continued (or not Converted, Continued or borrowed) for the period from the date of such payment, prepayment, Conversion or Continuation (or failure to Convert, Continue or borrow) to the last day of the then current applicable Interest Period (or, in the case of a failure to Convert, Continue or borrow, to the last day of the applicable Interest Period which would have commenced on the date specified therefor in the relevant notice) at the applicable rate of interest for the LIBOR Loan or Bid Rate Loan provided for herein, over (2) the amount of interest (as reasonably determined by such Bank) based upon the interest rate which such Bank would have bid in the London interbank market for Dollar deposits, for amounts comparable to such principal amount and maturities comparable to such period. A determination of any Bank as to the amounts payable pursuant to this Section shall be conclusive absent manifest error. The obligations of Borrower under this Section shall survive the repayment of all amounts due under or in connection with any of the Loan Documents and the termination of the Loan Commitments in respect of the period prior to such termination.
