WASTEWATER & WATER TREATMENT PLANTS. Schedules shall consist of five work days, Sunday through Saturday for Water Treatment and Waste Water Treatment Plant employees, and Monday through Friday for all other divisions represented by this agreement. The regular weekly schedule shall consist of five (5) eight (8) hour work days between Sunday and Saturday. For the first shift the work hours shall be exclusive of an unpaid one-half (1/2) hour lunch period. For the second and third shifts the work hours shall be inclusive of a paid one-half (1/2) hour meal period. Such meal periods shall be taken insofar as practicable in the middle of the shift, and in a manner that shall not interrupt normal plant operations. The three shift schedules shall be as follows: First Shift: 7:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. Second Shift: 3:30 P.M. - 11:30 P.M. Third Shift: 11:00 P.M. - 7:00 A.M. Section 1 (c): WINTER OPERATIONS FOR THREE ROAD CREWS: From approximately December 1st, or after the first significant snow storm, until approximately March 31st, or after most of the snow has melted, the Highways and Utilities Division will operate three road crews and for a two week period during this time the regular working hours for one crew will be 4:30 AM to 12:30 PM and the other two crews will work 6:30 AM to 3 PM. The three crews will rotate this shift through the winter for two week periods. When there is a winter event during this time period the crew that is working 4:30 AM to 12:30 PM will report at 6:30 AM in order to provide for plowing coverage. During the two week period the 4:30 AM crew will not be considered to be on call. If they are called sooner than their 4:30 AM start this would be considered a call back for overtime.

The water and ice for human consumption shall be of suitable quality.

  • Indoor Air Quality The Employer shall ensure a healthful air quality and attempt to ensure comfortable air temperature in buildings it owns and in space that it leases.

  • Dewatering 4.7.1 Where a part of a site is affected by surface water following a period of rain, thus rendering some areas unsafe for productive work, consistent with the Employer’s obligations under the OH&S Act, all non- trades employees shall assist in ‘dewatering’ their own work site or area if it is so affected. Such work to be paid at single time rates. Productive work will continue in areas not so affected.

  • Stormwater Notwithstanding any other provisions or terms of this Agreement, Company acknowledges that certain properties within the Premises or on Authority-owned land are subject to stormwater rules and regulations. Company agrees to observe and abide by such stormwater rules and regulations as may be applicable to the Premises, and, if applicable, Company hereby expressly covenants, warrants, and represents to Authority, in connection with Company’s operations on the Premises, the following:

  • TOOL STORAGE 1. A company shall provide on all construction jobs in towns and cities, and elsewhere where reasonably necessary and practicable (or if requested buy the employee), a suitable and secure waterproof lock-up solely for the purpose of storing employees’ tools, and on multi-storey and major projects the company shall provide, where possible, a suitable lock-up for employees’ tools within a reasonable distance of the work area of large groups of employees.

  • Electrical Safety Only UL approved items are permitted in Housing & Residence Life. Extension and multi-use cords must be heavy duty, single plug, and be UL approved. Altering or adapting electrical outlets and equipment and overloading circuits jeopardize safety and thus are not permitted.

  • AIR TRANSPORT 1. Profits derived by an enterprise of a Contracting State from the operation of aircraft in international traffic shall be taxable only in that State.

  • Unbundled Sub-Loop Concentration System (USLC 2.9.1 Where facilities permit and where necessary to comply with an effective Commission order, BellSouth will provide <<customer_name>> with the ability to concentrate its sub-loops onto multiple DS1s back to the BellSouth Central Office. The DS1s will then be terminated into <<customer_name>>’s collocation space. TR-008 and TR303 interface standards are available.
