Weekday. A Resident Physician shall receive remuneration at a rate of $59.01 for every weekday home call assigned and worked. For the purpose of remuneration, the weekday home call rate shall apply to home call shifts that commence on weekdays (Monday through Friday).

Weekday. When a first shift is absent from duty for any reason, the second shift shall cover the day shift. If the Director of Buildings and Grounds is requested by the employee covering to find a volunteer to now cover his/her night shift and one cannot be found, they shall be required to cover. • When a second shift is absent from duty for any reason and if the Director of Buildings and Grounds is requested by the first shift employee to find a volunteer to cover the night shift and one cannot be found, he/she shall cover. • If the building has a mid-shift employee and the day shift is absent from duty for any reason, the mid-shift shall cover the first shift. The second shift employee shall cover the mid-shift’s hours. If the Director of Buildings and Grounds is requested to find a volunteer to cover any of the night shift by either employee now covering and one cannot be found, the mid-shift shall stay till their regular scheduled time, and the night shift shall cover as well. • If the building has a mid-shift employee and the night shift is absent from duty for any reason and if the Director of Buildings and Grounds is requested by either the first shift or the mid-shift employees to find a volunteer to cover the open night shift and one cannot be found, the mid-shift shall cover the closing part of the second shift after their regular scheduled time and the day shift shall cover the beginning part of the second shift hours as well. • If the building has a mid-shift employee and he or she is absent from duty for any reason, the second shift shall cover the beginning of the mid-shift’s hours and the day shift shall cover the ending of the mid-shift’s hours. • If there are multiple positions in one shift, these positions shall be done on a continuous rotating basis. • All employees shall not be mandated to cover more than one (1) double shift in a row.
