Weekly Employment. Except as provided in subclause 10.3 hereof, employment shall be by the week. Any Employee not specifically engaged as a casual Employee shall be deemed to be employed by the week. 10.1.1 The Employer may direct an Employee to carry out such duties as are within the limits of the Employee's skill, competence and training, consistent with the broad banded classification of the Agreement provided that such duties are not designed to promote deskilling. 10.1.2 The Employer may direct an Employee to carry out such duties and use such tools and equipment as may be required, provided that the Employee has been properly trained in the use of such tools and equipment. 10.1.3 Any direction issued by the Employer pursuant to paragraphs 10.1.1 and 10.1.2 shall be consistent with the Employer's responsibilities to provide a safe and healthy working environment.
