WELDER CERTIFICATION. When the Union fills a request for a certified stick or wire welder, such referred Iron Worker shall have in his/her possession a current recognized certificate required by the local area (i.e. WABO in Washington, AWS, City of Portland National Welding program, etc.). If the job to be performed requires additional certification of any kind, the Employer shall pay for all expenses involved in securing such test as required by the terms of this Agreement. The Employer shall furnish the welder and the Union with a copy of the certification papers provided the employee remains on the job to its completion or for thirty (30) days, whichever comes first.

WELDER CERTIFICATION. To be eligible to receive an uprate differential, the welder must have a minimum of five (5) years experience and possess a certificate from a testing laboratory indicating that he has successfully passed a welding test acceptable to the Roads and Sanitation Superintendent.
WELDER CERTIFICATION. When the EMPLOYER requests welders possessing specific certifications, the UNIONS shall, when available, refer welders possessing such current certifications regardless of their position on the out of work list. When reporting for work, the applicant shall have in his possession a current recognized certificate. If the job to be performed requires additional certification of any kind, the EMPLOYER shall pay for all expenses involved in such test including wages and cost of test, and shall (after 30 days of employment or completion of the job) provide the employee and the UNION with a copy of the certification.
WELDER CERTIFICATION. 25 Art. 32(a). Any welder who is required to take 26 a test on a job site shall be paid for the time 27 required to take the test. 28 Art. 32(b). If an Employer obligates the company 29 to maintain the certification of a welder for 30 one (1) year, the Union agrees to arrange with 31 that Employer to pretest welders at a mutually 32 agreeable time and place. Such testing will be 33 done without compensation. Welders passing 34 a certification test will be compensated for 35 actual time required to take such test which 1 shall not exceed four (4) hours pay upon his 2 first employment with that contractor provided 3 such employee remains at work on the job 4 at least five (5) working days, or in the case 5 of jobs of less than (5) working days, for the 6 duration thereof.   • Owner Certification During the term of this Contract, the Owner certifies that:

  • AS9100 Certification ‌ AS9100 Certification, specifies requirements for a quality management system to demonstrate the Contractor’s ability to consistently meet the customer requirements as well as statutory and regulatory requirements for the aerospace industry. An AS9100 Certification, is not mandatory; however, Contractors who desire to compete for work within the aerospace industry are encouraged to have AS9100 Certification, during the entire term of OASIS. The Contractor shall notify the OASIS CO, in writing, if there are any changes in the status of their AS9100 Certification, and provide the reasons for the change and copies of audits from an AS9100 Certification Body, as applicable. If only part of a Contractor’s organization is AS9100, certified, the Contractor shall make the distinction between which business units or sites and geographic locations have been certified.

  • ISO 9001 Certification The Contractor shall maintain or exceed their ISO 9001 Certification and submit updates, if applicable

  • CLEC Certification 8.1 Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, CenturyLink shall have no obligation to perform under this Agreement until such time as CLEC has obtained such FCC and Commission authorization(s) as may be required by Applicable Law for conducting business in the State as a competitive local exchange carrier. CLEC shall not be permitted to establish its account nor place any orders under this Agreement until it has obtained such authorization and provided proof of such to CenturyLink. For the life of this Agreement, CLEC must represent and warrant to CenturyLink that it remains a certified local provider of Telephone Exchange Service within CenturyLink’s Local Calling Area(s) in the State. At any time during the life of this Agreement, CLEC will provide a copy of its current Certificate of Operating Authority or other evidence of its status to CenturyLink upon request. CLEC’s failure to maintain such authorization(s) as may be required by Applicable Law for conducting business in the State as a CLEC shall be considered a Default of Agreement.

  • Exhibit D - Debarment Certification By signing and submitting this Contract, the Contractor is agreeing to abide by the debarment requirements as set out below. • The certification in this clause is a material representation of fact relied upon by County. • The Contractor shall provide immediate written notice to County if at any time the Contractor learns that its certification was erroneous or has become erroneous by reason of changed circumstances. • Contractor certifies that none of its principals, affiliates, agents, representatives or contractors are excluded, disqualified or ineligible for the award of contracts by any Federal agency and Contractor further certifies to the best of its knowledge and belief, that it and its principals: • Are not presently debarred, suspended, proposed for debarment, declared ineligible, or voluntarily excluded by any Federal Department or Agency; • Have not been convicted within the preceding three-years of any of the offenses listed in 2 CFR 180.800(a) or had a civil judgment rendered against it for one of those offenses within that time period; • Are not presently indicted for or otherwise criminally or civilly charged by a governmental entity (Federal, State, or Local) with commission of any of the offenses listed in 2 CFR 180.800(a); • Have not had one or more public transactions (Federal, State, or Local) terminated within the preceding three-years for cause or default. • The Contractor agrees by signing this Contract that it will not knowingly enter into any subcontract or covered transaction with a person who is proposed for debarment, debarred, suspended, declared ineligible, or voluntarily excluded from participation in this covered transaction. • Any subcontractor will provide a debarment certification that includes the debarment clause as noted in preceding bullets above, without modification.

  • Special Certification The individual or officer signing this agreement certifies by his or her signature that he or she is authorized to sign this agreement on behalf of the responsible governing board, official or Grantee.

  • Instructions for Certification 1. By signing and submitting this CONTRACT, the prospective lower tier participant is providing the certification set out below.

  • Contractor Certification The Department may, at its option, terminate the Contract if the Contractor is found to have submitted a false certification as provided under section 287.135(5), F.S., or been placed on the Scrutinized Companies with Activities in Sudan List or the Scrutinized Companies with Activities in the Iran Petroleum Energy Sector List, or been engaged in business operations in Cuba or Syria, or to have been placed on the Scrutinized Companies that Boycott Israel List or is engaged in a boycott of Israel.

  • RECYCLING CERTIFICATION The Contractor shall certify in writing under penalty of perjury, the minimum, if not exact, percentage of post consumer material as defined in the Public Contract Code Section 12200, in products, materials, goods, or supplies offered or sold to the State regardless of whether the product meets the requirements of Public Contract Code Section 12209. With respect to printer or duplication cartridges that comply with the requirements of Section 12156(e), the certification required by this subdivision shall specify that the cartridges so comply (Pub. Contract Code §12205).

  • Drug-Free Workplace Certification As required by Executive Order No. 90-5 dated April 12, 1990, issued by the Governor of Indiana, the Contractor hereby covenants and agrees to make a good faith effort to provide and maintain a drug-free workplace. The Contractor will give written notice to the State within ten (10) days after receiving actual notice that the Contractor, or an employee of the Contractor in the State of Indiana, has been convicted of a criminal drug violation occurring in the workplace. False certification or violation of this certification may result in sanctions including, but not limited to, suspension of contract payments, termination of this Contract and/or debarment of contracting opportunities with the State for up to three (3) years. In addition to the provisions of the above paragraph, if the total amount set forth in this Contract is in excess of $25,000.00, the Contractor certifies and agrees that it will provide a drug-free workplace by:
