When and Where Payable. 1. The first month's Dues must be paid to Blue Shield by the effective date of this Contract and subsequent Dues shall be prepaid in full by the same date of each succeeding month. No Member will be covered under this Contract until the first month's Dues payment has been received by Blue Shield.

When and Where Payable. Lessee shall pay rent to Lessor for the Premises, without offset or demand, in advance, on the first day of each month of the Term. Rent for any period during the Term which is for less than one month shall be a pro rata portion of the monthly rent based on a month of thirty (30) days.
