These agreements will constitute “flat rates or “trip rates” and will be recorded on a schedule which will be maintained at the local terminal location. NOTE 2 - DETENTION: That portion of revenue representing detention charges will be paid to the Contractor only after Carrier is paid by the Customer. No portion of detention charges will be paid to the Contractor where Contractor has failed to complete and return, to Carrier, a delivery receipt or proof of delivery document including all of the detention information called for in the delivery receipt form, including but not limited to a legible customer signature acknowledging the detention. FUEL SURCHARGE: Carrier and Contractor acknowledge that the amount of fuel surcharge will vary from customer to customer and will fluctuate from time-to-time. Accordingly, Contractor agrees that the amount of fuel surcharge will be agreed upon at the time of dispatch.
Windshield Wipers. 19.53.1. Heavy duty bottom mounted: The wipers shall be bottom pivot mounted.
Windshield Wipers. Two speed electric pantograph wipers shall be installed. These wipers shall have minimum 24" blades and have 28 1/2" wet arm electric pump washers. A 70 oz. Minimum windshield washer reservoir shall be furnished.
Windshield Wipers. The Trolley shall be equipped with electric, variable speed windshield wipers for each half of the windshield, with a single control for both sides. A variable intermittent feature shall be provided to allow adjustment of wiper speeds between approximately 5 to 25 cycles per minute. At 60 mph, no more than 10% of the wiped area shall be lost due to windshield wiper lift. Wipers shall park in a symmetrical pattern. Windshield wiper motors and mechanisms shall be easily accessible for repairs or service from outside the vehicle and shall be removable as complete units. The fastener that secures the wiper arm to the drive mechanism shall be corrosion resistant.
Windshield Wipers. Three (3) electric windshield wipers with a washer, in conformance with FMVSS and SAE requirements, will be provided. The wiper blades will be 21.65" long and together will clear a minimum of 1,783 square inches of the windshield for maximum visibility in inclement weather. The windshield washer fluid reservoir will be located at the front of the vehicle and be accessible through the access hood for simple maintenance.
