Work Area Conditions. The Employer shall provide a properly lighted, clean, properly ventilated and properly heated/air-conditioned office area of adequate size, free of extraneous disturbances. The Employer shall ensure that the Employer's premises are in conformity with federal, state and local health and safety laws and regulations. The Employer shall make every effort to ensure optimum working conditions. The Employee is responsible for keeping their work areas clean and notifying the Employer of any unfit conditions.

Work Area Conditions. A. No employee shall be required to remain in any building or area that has been declared unsafe by the District or a public safety agency or to perform tasks which endanger their health, safety and well-being.
