Work Day. (1) A work day consists of a minimum of eight (8) hours, excluding meal periods. (2) A work day starting on one calendar day and running into the next calendar day shall be credited to the first calendar day, except that an employee whose work shift overlaps into a holiday or from a holiday into the next day shall be paid at double time for those hours worked on the calendar holiday.
