No employee shall be required to report for duty earlier than thirty (30) minutes before the opening of the students’ school day, and shall be permitted to leave thirty (30) minutes after the close of the pupils’ school day except for meetings deemed necessary by the staff or administration and for in- service/workdays. On Fridays or on days preceding holidays or vacations, the employees may depart after all of their responsibilities have been concluded.

Leaving the Building. Employees may leave their building during the time encompassed 171 by the employee’s workday upon receipt of permission from their principal, their 172 supervisor, or the Employer’s appointed designee.

Employees, SUCCESS employees or sign language interpreters may leave their building during the time encompassed by the employee’s, SUCCESS employee’s or sign language interpreter’s workday upon receipt of permission from their principal, their supervisor, or the Employer’s appointed designee. Arrival and Dismissal Time. The normal teacher work-day shall be seven (7) hours and forty five (45) minutes, 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Teachers shall not be required to remain past the normal teachers’ day except for the following events:
1. Delayed Buses (on emergency basis)
2. Teachers’ meetings (including building, curriculum, and other committee meetings; maximum of 2 per month)
3. Evening Parent-Teacher Conferences (1 evening during 2nd quarter)
4. Emergency situations that endanger student welfare or safety, which require the employee's presence as determined by the Superintendent. Employees with extra-duty assignments shall perform their respective duties. Institute days shall not be considered normal work days, and teachers shall not be required to stay beyond the end of the agenda of such institute.
