Workforce & Training Needs Analysis. The goal of this task is to develop a summary of the types of jobs that will be created for the local community, the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for each position, and training programs available to prepare the local workforce for these needs. The Recipient shall: • Conduct conversations with two other local school districts who have pursued MD/HD XXX fleets to learn from their experience in securing the necessary workforce for the projects. • Interview 3-5 companies that specialize in installing or maintaining the necessary infrastructure to support MD/HD XXX bus fleets to assess local challenges in recruiting for these occupations. • Analyze labor market data to estimate workforce availability and supply gap. • Research available training programs offered by public or private entities that can help to close the workforce supply gap. • Develop a Workforce Training Needs Summary Report to document occupation supply gap analysis, overview of currently available training programs, and recommendations for any training programs that may need to be created.   • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • DEMONSTRATIONS/SAMPLES 9.1 Bidders shall demonstrate the exact item(s) proposed within seven (7) calendar days from receipt of such request from the Owners.

  • Health and Safety Training Regular employees and auxiliary employees in posted positions shall participate in a Health and Safety Training session once in a calendar year. The training program offered by the Employer must be approved by the joint Health and Safety Committee prior to such training commencing. Training will be provided during normal work hours and employees shall suffer no loss of pay or benefits.

  • Safety Training Pursuant to Missouri Revised Statute Section 292.675, Contractors and subcontractors who sign a contract to work on public works projects must provide a 10-hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. Contractors and subcontractors in violation of this provision will forfeit to the public body $2,500 plus $100 a day for each employee who is employed without training. Public bodies and contractors may withhold/assess these penalties from the payment due to those contractors and subcontractors if found to be in non-compliance.

  • Compliance Training ADMINISTRATOR shall make General Compliance Training and Provider Compliance Training, where appropriate, available to Covered Individuals.

  • Supplier Diversity Seller shall comply with Xxxxx’s Supplier Diversity Program in accordance with Appendix V.

  • Training and Orientation (a) No employee shall be required to work on any job or operate any piece of equipment until he/she has received proper training and instruction.

  • Quality Assurance The parties endorse the underlying principles of the Company’s Quality Management System, which seeks to ensure that its services are provided in a manner which best conforms to the requirements of the contract with its customer. This requires the Company to establish and maintain, implement, train and continuously improve its procedures and processes, and the employees to follow the procedures, document their compliance and participate in the improvement process. In particular, this will require employees to regularly and reliably fill out documentation and checklists to signify that work has been carried out in accordance with the customer’s specific requirements. Where necessary, training will be provided in these activities.

  • Quality Assurance Plan The contractor shall develop and submit to NMFS a contractor Quality Assurance Plan, as referenced in Section F.5.3, which details how the contractor will ensure effectiveness and efficiency of collection efforts as well as the quality of data collected by its At-Sea Monitors. The contractor shall further establish, implement, and maintain a Quality Assurance Management program to ensure consistent quality of all work products and services performed under this contract.

  • Job Training The Employer and the Union shall establish a Joint Committee on Training and Skill Upgrading for the following purposes:
