Workplace Hazardous Materials Information Systems. The Employer shall provide MSDS data sheets in each work area which identify in writing presently used chemicals, substances or equipment present in the work area including hazards, precautions and antidotes or procedures to be followed following exposure. These MSDS sheets shall be available to employees in each work area.
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information Systems. The Supplier shall meet all WHMIS requirements as defined under the Ontario Heath and Safety Act. A current Material Safety Data Sheet conforming to WHMIS legislation must be provided by Supplier with all goods shipped which are regulated by WHMIS.

Employees taking XXXXX training shall be granted leave with pay for the duration of the course. Investigations Concerning Work Hazards and The Management Committee shall conduct such investigations as may be necessary to identify, seek remedy and/or to the circumstances surrounding work injuries and health hazards arising in the workplace, including third party premises. These duties shall be conducted in the presence of Management Committee members. ARTICLE Technological Change Both parties recognize the overall advantages of technological change. Therefore, both parties will encourage and promote technological change and improvements. With this view, and recognizing the extensive lead time required for the selection, provision and installation of new equipment, software or materials, the Employer agrees to provide at least one hundred and twenty (120) days notice to the Union of any major technological change which would result in changes in the employment status or in this Agreement. Where the Employer has notified the Union that it intends to introduce technological change, the parties undertake to meet within ninety (90) days for consultations in an effort to reach agreement on solutions and administrative procedures to deal with problems arising from the intended technological change. ARTICLE Civil Liability, an action or proceeding is brought against any employee or former employee for an alleged tort committed by him in the performance of his duties, then:

  • Hazardous Substances The words "Hazardous Substances" mean materials that, because of their quantity, concentration or physical, chemical or infectious characteristics, may cause or pose a present or potential hazard to human health or the environment when improperly used, treated, stored, disposed of, generated, manufactured, transported or otherwise handled. The words "Hazardous Substances" are used in their very broadest sense and include without limitation any and all hazardous or toxic substances, materials or waste as defined by or listed under the Environmental Laws. The term "Hazardous Substances" also includes, without limitation, petroleum and petroleum by-products or any fraction thereof and asbestos.

  • Anonymous Material There shall be no anonymous material in the evaluation file except for numerical summaries of student evaluations that are part of a regular evaluation procedure of classroom instruction and/or written comments from students obtained as part of that regular evaluation procedure. If written comments from students in a course are included in the evaluation file, all of the comments obtained in the same course must be included.

Should the Contractor or any Subcontractors have knowledge that, or believe that, an item, component, material, substance, or accessory within a product or assembly selected by the Contractor or any Subcontractor may contain Hazardous Materials it is the Contractor’s responsibility to secure a written certification from the manufacturer of any suspected material which identifies the specific Hazardous Material(s) contained, together with the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for such materials which shall be submitted to the Owner and Design Professional.
