Common use of Written Evaluations Clause in Contracts

Written Evaluations. If the employee disagrees with the evaluation, he/she may submit a written response that shall be attached to the file copy of the evaluation in question. If a supervisor believes an employee is doing unacceptable work, the reasons therefore shall be set forth in specific terms, as shall the ways in which the employee is to improve, and the assistance to be given by the employer towards improvement. In subsequent observations, failure to note a specific deficiency shall be interpreted to mean that adequate improvement has taken place.
