Specialty Position Pay Clause Samples
Specialty Position Pay. An employee who demonstrates fluency in Spanish as determined by a neutral native speaker may be designated by the Sheriff as a Bilingual Interpreter. The employee must demonstrate availability for interpreting at times of need and continued fluency in Spanish to remain so designated. Up to four (4) employees may be designated by the Sheriff at a rate of $25.00 per month.
Specialty Position Pay. A. Except for Field Training Officers (FTO), employees assigned to any specialty position will, in addition to their base pay, receive one thousand two hundred fifty dollars ($1,250) annually.
B. Employees assigned as a permanent detective will, in addition to their base pay, receive one thousand seven hundred fifty dollars ($1,750) annually.
C. Employees performing work as an FTO will receive one hour of pay at an overtime rate for each day in which they are training a new employee assigned to a FTO training phase.
D. Employees being reassigned from the Special Operations Division or any specialty position, will then receive only those wages established in Appendix A within the proper classification.
