XXXX Release Time. 1. In order to administer this agreement and to facilitate the processing of grievances, the XXXX president, grievance chairperson, and/or building representative will be permitted to leave their building following the dismissal of students. However, this should not interfere with the fulfillment of their professional responsibilities for individual assistance to students or parent conferences. The immediate supervisor shall be notified whenever an employee is going to another school building prior to the conclusion of the contractual workday.

XXXX Release Time. Whenever any representatives of the Association or any employees are mutually scheduled by the parties to participate during working hours in negotiations, grievance proceedings, conferences or meetings with the College or its representative, they shall suffer no loss in pay. Nothing herein shall require the College to schedule such meetings during working hours.

The Employer will approve paid release time for a reasonable number of employee representatives who are scheduled to work during the time negotiations are being conducted, provided the absence of the employee will not interfere with the operating needs of the University.
