Xxxxx Removal. 5.1 Xxxxx diameters shall be measured as follows:
Xxxxx Removal. The Contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, material, and equipment necessary to remove a tree xxxxx when directed by NYCDOT.
Xxxxx Removal. The City will issue Xxxxx Removal lists on an as-needed basis including addresses and locations of stumps to be ground, along with xxxxx diameters. Each list will include no more than fifty (50) removal sites and shall be completed in forty-five
Xxxxx Removal. Xxxxx removal shall include, but is not limited to the following: • All stumps shall be surveyed for underground utilities prior to removal. • Stumps should be removed within a week after planned tree removal • Stumps shall be ground to a depth of 16” below a line between the back of the curb and the top of the sidewalk or an existing grade as determined by the CONTRACT MANAGER and, generally, will be considered to be the grade that is consistent with the plane of the parkway outside any mounds or depressions caused by, or adjacent to the tree to make room for future tree planting. • All surface roots within a ten (10) foot radius of the center of the xxxxx shall be removed. • All surface roots within one (1) feet of the sidewalk shall be removed. • Xxxxx grindings shall be immediately disposed of by the Contractor. • All stumps must be removed within twenty-five (25) business days after a xxxxx list has been submitted to the Contractor by the CONTRACT MANAGER. The average monthly xxxxx removal list from the Village contains about 34 stumps. Failure to remove stumps within the specified timeframe could result in termination of this Agreement.
A. Backfilling & Site Clean-up
Xxxxx Removal. Remove tree stumps at least 12 in. below the surrounding terrain unless otherwise shown on the plans, or as directed. Backfill holes with acceptable material and compact flush with surrounding area.
Xxxxx Removal. All tree stumps in landscaped and turf areas will be removed following cutting. Stumps may be ground, removed or cut low enough to allow coverage with top soil, seeded and maintained as a grassed area. Additional xxxxx removal may be requested.
Xxxxx Removal. A. The Contractor shall remove stumps by grinding in conformance with a schedule submitted to the Project Manager prior to work beginning.
B. The Contractor shall provide adequate shielding to prevent flying debris during all xxxxx removal operations.
C. The Contractor shall temporarily remove (and replace following completion of the work) any public or private improvements located within the xxxxx removal site. Improvements shall include, but not be limited to, loose bricks and pavers, landscape rocks and stones, small shrubs and plants, filter fabrics, and mulch.
D. All xxxxx xxxx and primary roots shall be removed to the required depth.
1. The minimum hole depth shall be 8" inches unless otherwise specified in Table T-1.
2. The minimum hole width shall be the widest part of the trunk flair.
E. The Contractor shall notify the Owner of soil conditions or other obstructions the Contractor believes may be detrimental to future trees being planted in a ground out xxxxx hole.
F. Open xxxxx removal sites shall not be backfilled until inspected by the Project Manager or his designee.
Xxxxx Removal. Marked stumps shall be removed with a xxxxx grinder and the xxxxx ground approximately 10" below ground level. All xxxxx holes will be filled with topsoil capable of producing a natural stand of grass and may contain NO more than 30% wood chips. The remaining wood chips are to be removed from the area and disposed of at the COR’s discretion. Once the topsoil is packed level, it shall be seeded and fertilized (10-10-10) with a viable mixture of tall fescue, bluegrass and ryegrass seed. Note: Concerning xxxxx removal, the unit will be each.
Xxxxx Removal. Contractor may be issued a work order to remove or grind stumps. The Contractor will verify the location and xxxxx with the City Representative prior to notice to proceed. Contractor shall grind xxxxx including any visible buttress roots. Contractor is responsible for calling Blue Stake prior to commencing work. Holes shall be backfilled with approved topsoil. Debris resulting from grinding and other wood spoils must be removed and disposed of at Contractor’s expense. Xxxxx removal will be paid per inch diameter.
Xxxxx Removal. SevenZocks will contact “Dig Safe” before any xxxxx grinding work is to be performed. Dig Safe will locate & mark any underground utilities in order to avoid any potential damage during the xxxxx grinding process. Typically, all xxxxx removals will be done by a separate team within 2 weeks after the main tree work has been completed.
