Tree Planting. 1. Tree planting consists of the installation of nursery stock container or palm trees supplied by the Contractor.
2. As stated previously herein, the Contractor shall identify the location of all utilities and private property landscape irrigation components prior to the planting of any tree. The Contractor shall assume full responsibility for any damage that occurs during the planting of any tree.
3. Contractor shall supply quality nursery stock which is fully rooted and representative of recognized standards for size and quality of the material being planted.
4. Brown trunk height (BTH) for palm trees shall be measured from the top of root ball to the lowest green frond attached to the trunk at an angle of ninety (90) degrees.
5. Planting stock shall be well watered prior to shipping and covered for the duration of transport. Trees that are delivered uncovered, with a dry or fractured root ball or with broken scaffold limbs will be rejected. Root bound material will be rejected. Palms that are delivered uncovered, with a dry root ball or with a soilless root ball will be rejected.
6. Contractor shall not begin excavation for the planting of a tree without first confirming that the planting site being considered is indeed the site intended for the planting of a tree.
7. In excavating planting pits, the Contractor shall not excavate deeper than the depth of the root ball of the tree being installed. The bottom of the planting pit shall be undisturbed so that the planted tree will not settle below top of root ball grade standards defined herein.
8. All nursery containers and box sides shall be removed from tree root balls prior to planting. The Contractor shall not install trees with box bottoms left on. All container debris (e.g. strapping, box fragments, nails) shall be removed from the planting pit prior to backfilling.
9. Contractor shall install the tree or palm so that the top of root ball is two (2) inches above surrounding finish grade. The Contractor shall not cut or trim the root ball as a means of meeting grade standards.
10. Contractor shall backfill hardwood tree plantings with an equal mix of excavated soil and topsoil. The topsoil portion of the backfill mix shall contain no more than ten (10) percent well decomposed organic fines.
11. Contractor shall backfill palm plantings with one hundred (100) percent washed mortar (plaster) sand.
12. Contractor shall cease backfilling when the planting pit is one-half (½) full and apply water to remove...
Tree Planting. No additional trees may be removed from the Drip Field Facilities. Upon completion of the Drip Field Facilities, Meritage shall replant trees on the Property to replace any trees removed during the development of the Drip Field Facilities. The total number of replacement trees shall be based on the aggregate Caliper Inches of the trees removed. For purposes of this Agreement, "Caliper Inches" shall be defined as the diameter of a tree trunk measured at six (6) inches above ground level for trees up to four (4) inches in diameter, and at twelve (12) inches above ground level for trees larger than four (4) inches in diameter. Meritage shall replant trees whose combined Caliper Inches match or exceed the total Caliper Inches of the trees removed, as established in the Overall Tree Protection Plan survey prepared by Xxxxxx & Associates, dated February 8, 2019, and attached for convenience hereto as Exhibit
B. Replanting must occur within sixty (60) days of the completion of the Drip Field Facilities unless otherwise extended by written agreement with the City. The replacement trees’ species and locations must be approved by the City to ensure compliance with applicable local ordinances and tree preservation regulations. The obligations of this section shall expressly survive the Termination date.
Tree Planting. Planting bald cypress trees in tubex tree shelters at the edge of the shoreline.
Tree Planting. Tree planting generally involves hand planting nursery-grown tree seedlings directly into the soil, ensuring good contact between the soil and roots. Tree seedlings will be hand planted in even-aged management areas including landings during the first winter following completion of a THP. Planting will be postponed only if site preparation is necessary but cannot be completed prior to the planting season. The summer after initial planting, Green Diamond surveys planted areas to determine seedling survival rates and, where necessary to achieve desired stocking, will plant additional seedlings during the following winter. At age 2, a more detailed stocking survey will be done and, if necessary, additional trees are planted.
Tree Planting. Upon receipt of the fee for planting of a tree, the Woodland will facilitate the planting. The planting of trees will only occur in a limited time period as determined by the Woodland arborist and the Woodland. The Memorial Woodland will not store cremains prior to planting season. The estate will need to make arrangements for storage prior to tree planting. Only trees authorized by the Woodland will be allowed to be planted at the site.
Tree Planting. 7.1. In the event that the Owner plants trees within the road allowance boulevard, then the City shall provide an equivalent credit from the cash-in- lieu of parkland. The Owner shall first obtain the approval of the City to: - The calliper and species of trees; - The amount of the cash-in-lieu provided by the Owner which can be applied thereto; - The provision of a written warranty for the trees for two (2) years from planting of the trees.
Tree Planting. 9.1 The Owner shall delineate the identified tree retention zones with a silt fence and not alter the grading without approval from the Town. All lots are to have one new tree planted in the front yard. All lots that do not have a suitable tree in the rear yard are to also have one new tree planted.
Tree Planting. Contractor shall be responsible for providing and installing new trees, tree staking, adjusting or adding irrigation lines or tubing to root ball. All trees shall be installed per City of Mesa Standard Detail M-103.02 to M-103.04. All newly planted trees shall be warranted for one (1) year by the Contractor and replaced immediately upon failure.
Tree Planting. Plant one tree, having a diameter of 2-1/2 inches at breast height at the time of planting, in the front yard of each lot in the development.
Tree Planting. Stock handling and planting must be done according to Forests Ontario’s Best Management Practices for Tree Planting (Schedule E).
