Article Vacation. Vacations shall be granted with pay as per the Employment Standards Act of Ontario, provided that the employee makes his request in writing with a minimum of two (2) weeks notice, subject to the approval of the Department Supervisor. Vacations will be granted on a seniority basis for each department. The vacation period will extend for the full calendar year.

Article Vacation. (Applicable to Full Time Employees Only) Vacation entitlement as set out in Article will be converted to hours the basis of the employee's normal workweek. Employees working on an extended tour schedule will be granted vacation on the same basis and conditions as employees who work the workweek.   • Vacation means annual vacation with pay.

  • Weeks Pay' means the ordinary time rate of pay for the employee concerned:

  • income-related employment and support allowance means an income-related allowance under Part 1 of the Welfare Reform Act 2007;

  • Sick Leave means the period of time an employee is absent from work with or without pay, by virtue of sickness, quarantine, or accident, or out-of-town medical/dental referrals for which compensation is not payable under the Worker's Compensation Act.

  • Basic Compensation means Salary and Benefits.

  • Reasonable compensation means, with respect to a regularly employed officer or employee of any person, com- pensation that is consistent with the normal compensation for such officer or employee for work that is not fur- nished to, not funded by, or not fur- nished in cooperation with the Federal Government.
