Benefits Upon Layoff or Separation. (a) Subject to (b) and (c) below, regular employees who have completed three (3) months of service and who are receiving benefits pursuant to Section 1.1(c), 1.1(d), or 1.2 shall continue to receive such benefits upon layoff or separation until the termination of the illness or until the maximum benefit entitlement has been granted, whichever comes first, if the notice of layoff or separation is given after the commencement of the illness for which the benefits are being paid.

  • Benefits Upon Layoff Regular employees who have completed three months of service and are receiving an allowance pursuant to Clause 21.4, 21.5 and/or 21.6 shall continue to receive that allowance upon layoff, until the allowance has been exhausted, provided the notice of layoff is given after the commencement of the leave.

The Employer will xxxx the Union for these days as noted above. The Union will pay these invoices within twenty-eight (28) days. Union leave is not unpaid leave for the purposes of Article 22.02 [i.e. such leave will not affect the employee’s benefits, seniority or increment anniversary date].
