Card Data definition

Card Data means a cardholder’s account number, expiration date, and CVV2.

Card Data means the 16-digit primary account number, card verification value, and/or date of expiration of any bank-issued payment card.

Card Data means the Card Number, PIN-Code, the period of validity of the Card, and the electronic signature code (CVC2).

Examples of Card Data in a sentence

• Following these checks, the applicable updated Card Data relating to Merchant’s customers, if any, is processed and stored by PayPal at Merchant’s direction and on the Merchant’s behalf for (i) recurring transactions using the Recurring Billing or Recurring Payments or (ii) other eligible transactions using the Products.

• Further, unless you get the express written consent of PayPal and each Acquiring Bank and/or the Card Companies, as applicable, you agree that you will not use nor disclose the Card Data for any purpose other than to support payment for your goods and services.

• To the extent that Card Data resides on your systems and other storage locations, it should do so only for the express purpose of processing your transactions.

• Merchant may not disclose any such information or Card Data to any third party and may not use such information or Card Data for any purpose other than as may be expressly permitted.

More Definitions of Card Data

Card Data means all personal or financial information relevant to a Card Transaction, including information recorded on the card itself (whether in human-readable form or digitally), together with the cardholder’s name and address and any other information necessary for processing a Card Transaction.

Card Data means the card number, expiration date, and security code of a Prepaid Card; "Card Limits" shall have the meaning ascribed to the term in Clause 3.8;

Card Data means the personal identification number from an ATM or debit card and the multi-digit card number associated with the card. Card Data may also include other information on the card.
