Class Description is the description of the duties, responsibilities, minimum qualifications, and authority of positions in a class.
Class Description means that each position in the classified service shall have a designated title, a regular minimum number of assigned hours per day, days per week, and months per year, a specific statement of the duties required to be performed by the employees in each such position, and the regular monthly salary ranges for each such position.
Class Description means a statement which has been prepared by Management and is on file in the Human Resources Department and on the internet. The class description will address such areas as the nature and scope of the job, principal accountabilities, work environment, physical requirements, minimum qualifications and the salary level.
