Continuous Shift Employee definition

Continuous Shift Employee means an employee who is: (i) contracted to work ordinary hours of duty in accordance with a roster where the employee is rostered for afternoon and/or night shift with day shift and who may be rostered over any number of the days of the week that the service operates. (ii) rostered to work permanent night shifts over seven days of the week.

Continuous Shift Employee means an employee who normally works on Sundays and Holidays when so rostered.

Examples of Continuous Shift Employee in a sentence

  • A Continuous Shift Employee shall be entitled to a morning tea break of 15 minutes from 9.00am to 9.15am, a lunch break of 20 minutes between 12 noon and 12.30pm and an afternoon tea break of 15 minutes between 3.00pm and 3.15pm.

  • An Employee will be able to accrue a maximum of one hundred and fifty (152) hours in time off in lieu of the overtime, provided that a Continuous Shift Employee will be able to accrue a maximum of one hundred and ninety (190) hours in time off in lieu of the overtime.

  • Continuous Shift Employee working 12 hour shifts A Continuous Shift Employee shall be entitled to a morning tea break of 15 minutes from 9.00am to 9.15am, a lunch break of 20 minutes between 12 noon and 12.30pm and an afternoon tea break of 15 minutes between 3.00pm and 3.15pm.


More Definitions of Continuous Shift Employee

Continuous Shift Employee. Means an employee who rotates through 24 hr/7 day shifts for services provided by the City. Employee: Means an employee who is an employee of the City.
