Deemed Investment Options definition

Deemed Investment Options means the hypothetical securities or other investments described under Section 5.1 which the Plan Administrator may select to be used as measuring devices to determine the Deemed Investment gains or losses of a Participant’s Account. The Participant shall have no real or beneficial ownership in the security or investment represented by the Deemed Investment Options.
Deemed Investment Options means the deemed investment options selected by the Participant from time to time pursuant to which deemed earnings are credited to the Participant’s Distribution Accounts.
Deemed Investment Options means the hypothetical Investment Options offered by the Plan Sponsor, from time to time, that are used to determine the Earnings on the Participant Account(s).

Examples of Deemed Investment Options in a sentence

  • A Participant’s Distribution Accounts shall be credited with returns in accordance with the Deemed Investment Options elected by the Participant from time to time.

  • Any distribution made to or on behalf of a Participant from one or more of his Distribution Accounts in an amount which is less than the entire balance of any such Account shall be made pro rata from each of the Deemed Investment Options to which such Account is then allocated.

  • The Deemed Investment Options shall be for the sole purpose of determining the Credited Investment Return (Loss), and neither the Trustee nor the Company shall have any obligation to invest the Participant’s Deferral Amounts in the Deemed Investment Options or in any other investment.

  • The Plan Administrator reserves the right, on a prospective basis, to add or delete Deemed Investment Options.

  • A Participant may change the Deemed Investment Options to which the Participant’s Distribution Accounts are deemed to be allocated with whatever frequency is determined by the Plan Administrator, which shall not be less than four times per Plan Year.

  • The Plan Administrator may discontinue, substitute, or add Deemed Investment Options in its sole discretion on a prospective basis.

  • The Deemed Investment Options are to be used for measurement purposes only, and the Plan Administrator’s selection of any such Deemed Investment Option, the allocation of such Deemed Investment Options to the Account, the calculation of additional amounts, and the crediting or debiting of such amounts to the Account shall not be considered or construed in any manner as an actual investment of the Account.

  • At the time of the Participant's election to defer Compensation and once each calendar quarter thereafter, the Participant may designate in writing that amounts deferred be deemed to be invested in one of the funds set forth in Exhibit 1 (each of the foregoing a "Deemed Investment Option" and collectively, the "Deemed Investment Options").

  • Any amounts deemed to be invested in the Deemed Investment Options shall be subject to all applicable provisions as set forth in the applicable Prospectus.

  • The value of a Deferred Compensation Ledger Account will be equal to the value such account would have had if the Compensation had been invested and reinvested in shares of the Deemed Investment Options.


More Definitions of Deemed Investment Options

Deemed Investment Options means the hypothetical securities or other investments described under Section 4.1 from which the Plan Administrator may select to be used as measuring devices to determine the Deemed Investment gains or losses of the Participant’s Account(s). A Participant shall have no real or beneficial ownership in the Deemed Investment Options or any other asset of the Bank resulting from participation in the Plan.
Deemed Investment Options means the hypothetical securities or other investments as may be provided, from time to time, under the Plan, from which the Plan Administrator may select to be used as measuring devices to determine the deemed investment gains or losses of the Participant's Account. A Participant shall have no real or beneficial ownership in the security or other investment represented by the Deemed Investment Options.
Deemed Investment Options means the hypothetical Investment Options offered by the Corporation, from time to time, that are used to determine the Earnings on the Participant Account(s).
Deemed Investment Options shall be defined as provided in Paragraph 4.1 below.
Deemed Investment Options means the hypothetical investment options as from time to time may be selected by the Plan Administrator as measurements of the Deemed Investment Earnings to be credited to (or charged against) Participants’ Accounts.

Related to Deemed Investment Options

  • Investment Options means the investment options, as determined from time to time by the Committee, used to credit earnings, gains and losses on Account balances.

  • Investment Option means any of the guaranteed investments and variable investment funds available under the Plan.

  • Investment Funds means all monies and financial resources available for investment by the Authority, other than proceeds of bonds issued by the Authority.

  • Other Investments Account means the account established and maintained in the name of each Participant or Beneficiary to reflect his share of the Trust Fund, other than Company Stock.

  • Investment Account As defined in Section 3.12(a).

  • Qualified Investments means any of the following if and to the extent permitted by law:

  • Investment Accounts means the Collateral Account, Securities Accounts, Commodities Accounts and Deposit Accounts.

  • Widely Held Fixed Investment Trust as that term is defined in Treasury Regulations section 1.671-5(b)(22) or successor provisions.

  • Qualified investment has the meaning set forth in Section 313.021(1) of the TEXAS TAX CODE, as interpreted by the Comptroller’s Rules.

  • Participant’s Account means an account maintained for each Participant’s participation in DSUs and/or RSUs under the Plan;

  • Investment Return means the investment return payable in respect of the Bond in accordance with Clause 5 Returns.

  • Stock Fund means that portion of the Trust Fund consisting of Stock.

  • Investment Assets means all debentures, notes and other evidences of Indebtedness, stocks, securities (including rights to purchase and securities convertible into or exchangeable for other securities), interests in joint ventures and general and limited partnerships, mortgage loans and other investment or portfolio assets owned of record or beneficially by the Company.

The portion of a Grantee’s Account deemed invested in the Company Stock Fund shall be treated as if such portion of the Account were invested in hypothetical shares of Common Stock or Special Common Stock otherwise deliverable as Shares upon the Vesting Date associated with Restricted Stock or Restricted Stock Units, and all dividends and other distributions paid with respect to Common Stock or Special Common Stock were held uninvested in cash and credited with interest at the Applicable Interest Rate as of the next succeeding December 31 (to the extent the Account continues to be deemed credited in the form of Deferred Stock Units through such December 31).

  • Specified Investments means (a) direct obligations of the United States of America or obligations fully guaranteed by the United States of America; (b) commercial paper rated A-1/P-1 by S&P and Moody's, respectively or, if such ratings are unavailable, rated by any nationally recognized rating organization in the United States equal to the highest rating assigned by such rating organization; (c) investments in negotiable certificates of deposit, time deposits, banker's acceptances, commercial paper or other direct obligations of, or obligations guaranteed by, commercial banks organized under the laws of the United States or of any political subdivision thereof (or any U.S. branch of a foreign bank) with issuer ratings of at least B/C by Thomson Bankwatch, having maturities no later than 90 days following the date of such investment; (d) overnight federal funds transactions with members of the Federal Reserve System arranged by federal funds brokers; or (e) overnight repurchase agreements with respect to the securities described in clause (a) above entered into with an office of a bank or trust company which is located in the United States of America or any bank or trust company which is organized under the laws of the United States or any state thereof and has capital, surplus and undivided profits aggregating at least $500 million. SSB. State Street Bank and Trust Company of Connecticut, National Association, a national banking association or any successor Owner Trustee in its individual capacity.

  • ESOP Account means a Participant’s account to which are credited Matching Contributions made to the Plan after March 31, 1989, and earnings and losses thereon.

  • Company Contributions means the contributions made by the Company pursuant to Section 3.3.

  • Investment Election means an election, made in such form as the Administrative Committee may direct, pursuant to which a Participant may elect the Investment Funds in which the amounts credited to his Account will be deemed to be invested.

  • Rollover Contributions means, for any Participant, his rollover contributions as provided in Section 7.1.

  • Mutual Funds means (i) all open-end mutual funds; and (ii) similar pooled investment vehicles established in non-U.S. jurisdictions, such as registered investment trusts in Japan. For purposes of the Code, Mutual Fund does not include shares of open-end money market mutual funds (unless otherwise advised by Compliance).

  • Rollover Contribution Account means the separate Account maintained for a Member to record such Member's share of the Trust Fund attributable to any Rollover Contribution made to the Plan on his behalf.
