Designees definition

Designees means individuals, companies, Chinese-foreign equity joint ventures, partnership enterprises, trust or non-company organizations.

Designees has the meaning set forth in Section 6.2.1(a).

Designees shall have the meaning assigned to such term in Section 5.2(c).

Examples of Designees in a sentence

• The Customer agrees on behalf of itself and its Authorized Designees to keep the Proprietary Information confidential and to limit access to its employees and Authorized Designees (under a similar duty of confidentiality) who require access to the System for the purposes intended.

• In the event of termination, the Customer will return to State Street all copies of documentation and other confidential information in its possession or in the possession of its Authorized Designees and immediately cease access to the System and Remote Access Services.

• The Customer indemnifies and holds State Street harmless from and against any and all costs, expenses, losses, damages, charges, counsel fees, payments and liabilities arising from any failure of the Customer or any of its Authorized Designees to abide by the terms of this Addendum.

• State Street and its relevant licensors will not be liable to the Customer or its Authorized Designees for any direct or indirect, special, incidental, punitive or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with the System or the Remote Access Services, nor shall any party be responsible for delays or nonperformance under this Addendum arising out of any cause or event beyond such party’s control.

More Definitions of Designees

Designees shall have the meaning provided in Section 2.1.1(a).

Designees means any direct or indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Purchaser (excluding for purposes of determining whether a subsidiary is wholly-owned any directors’ qualifying shares).

In consideration of my participation in one or more Events, I agree to the following: I recognize that there may be risks associated with attending and/or participating in an Event, including, without limitation , risks inherent in the construction and/or operation of robots, working with electrical connections, operating or hand ling tools or sharp objects, traveling to and from events, and participating in public competitions. These risks include the risk of injury (including without limitation, serious bodil y harm and even death) and property damage. Being fully cognizant of the risks in participating in any such Event, I hereby fully and willingly assume those risks. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws, I HEREBY WAIVE ANY CLAIMS OR CAUSES OF ACTION which I may now have or hereafter arises against VEX relating to or connected to my participation in any Event (including, without limitation, the VEX World Championship Event), and I will indemnify and hold harmless VEX against any and all claims against any such entity or person resulting from same.

Designees means Policy Administrators and EPLIP Employers, in each case, to the extent designated by Eligible Policyholders to receive the portion of the Cash Consideration allocated to such Eligible Policyholders.
