Direct Project Costs means those costs which are directly associated with the Project. These may include the salaries and benefits of personnel assigned to the Project and the cost of supplies, postage, travel, and printing. General administrative costs, capital costs, and overhead are not Direct Project Costs. Any jurisdiction or metropolitan planning organization that has federally approved indirect cost plans may treat such indirect costs as Direct Project Costs.
