Displaced employee definition

Displaced employee means a Protected Employee who remains employed by a Railroad but, as a result of a Project, is placed in a worse position with respect to compensation and rules governing working conditions. A Protected Employee’s status as a Displaced Employee begins on the date said employee is harmed.
