District Fire Chief definition

District Fire Chief means a member of Protective Services District appointed by and reports to the Manager of Protective Services, to perform the duties and responsibilities as set out in the Bylaw, all applicable County policies and the policies of the Fire Protection Department;
District Fire Chief means that person duly appointed as such who is responsible for the resources, operation and management of a District Fire Department in a designated Fire District including any person appointed or designated by the District Fire Chief to act on their behalf.
District Fire Chief means the four persons appointed by Council to act on behalf of the Fire Chief of the Fire Department in the case of absence or a vacancy in the office of the Fire Chief.
