Final Completion of the Project definition

Final Completion of the Project or "Project Final Completion" is the Final Completion of all Project Stages and completion of all requirements of the Agreement.
Final Completion of the Project means the construction, the installation of improvements and the substantial readiness of the Project for use and occupancy by the City (subject to minor architectural finish items e.g., “punch list” items) as evidenced by the delivery of the Written Certificate of Project Completion (in the form of Exhibit E to the Indenture).
Final Completion of the Project means the last date on which all of the following events have occurred: the Commissioner has determined that all Punch List Work and any other remaining Work has been completed in accordance with the Contract Documents; final inspections have been completed and operations systems and equipment testing have been completed; final occupancy certifications have been issued; all Project Record Documents have been provided to the Commissioner.

Examples of Final Completion of the Project in a sentence

  • The Contractor shall restore existing facilities such as roads, other paved surfaces, fencing, curbing and the like at the Site to at least their preconstruction conditions; provided, however, the Contractor may, in an orderly fashion, leave such equipment and supplies at the Site as necessary to achieve Final Completion of the Project.

  • In the event that City's Losses arise from Contractor’s default under the Contract Documents, City shall be entitled to withhold monies otherwise payable to Contractor until Final Completion of the Project.

  • Should the amount withheld exceed the amount deducted, the balance will be paid to Contractor or its designee upon Final Completion of the Project.

  • It is the Owner's expectation that the Program Manager, Design Professional, Owner, Using Agency, Contractor, and any Separate Contractor, shall work as a Project Team to effect the commencement of and completion of construction in accordance with the Project Schedule, and to achieve Final Completion of the Project.

  • Contractor is entitled to receive payment for the actual cost of the allowable Cost of the Work items incurred after receipt of Owner’s written authorization to commence the Construction Phase Work through Final Completion of the Project.

  • In order to receive final payment upon Final Completion of the Project and before Final Acceptance, the Contractor must submit to the Project Officer a signed original notarized copy of the Arlington County Release and Request for Final Payment form per the General Conditions.

  • If this Contract For Construction is terminated by the City for cause, no further payment shall be made to the General Contractor until Final Completion of the Project.

  • Following the completion of the negotiations required by Paragraph 14.4.1, all unresolved Contract Disputes shall be deferred pending Final Completion of the Project, subject to City’s right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to require that the Contract Dispute Resolution Process proceed prior to Final Completion.

  • Submission of updates showing that Substantial Completion or Final Completion of the Project will be achieved later than the applicable scheduled completion date shall not constitute requests for extension of time and shall not operate to change the scheduled completion date(s).

  • The approved manager or superintendent shall not be discontinued (except upon Final Completion of the Project or in the event of his or her termination of employment or disability or if the County requests a replacement to resolve incompatible working relationships) and no new individual shall be designated without prior approval of the County.

Related to Final Completion of the Project

  • Final Completion means the date determined and certified by A/E and Owner on which the Work is fully and satisfactorily complete in accordance with the Contract.

  • Substantial Completion means the stage in the progress of the work as determined and certified by the Contracting Officer in writing to the Contractor, on which the work (or a portion designated by the Government) is sufficiently complete and satisfactory. Substantial completion means that the property may be occupied or used for the purpose for which it is intended, and only minor items such as touch-up, adjustments, and minor replacements or installations remain to be completed or corrected which:

  • Project Completion means the date, as determined by the Division after consultation with the Recipient, that operation of the Project is initiated or is capable of being initiated, whichever comes first.

  • Substantial Completion Date means the date on which Substantial Completion occurs.

  • Construction Completion Date means the Completion Date of the Construction as specified in the Statutory Declaration of Completion for the Project;

  • Construction Completion means physical construction of a cleanup action component is complete.

  • Final Completion Date means the date on which Final Completion occurs.

  • project completion period means the period of sixty (60) months commencing from and expiring on for the construction and obtaining of Temporary Occupation Permit or Permits for the whole of the Development as provided in clause 3.3;

  • Project Completion Date means the date on which the Completion Certificate is issued;

  • Scope of the Project shall have the meaning set forth in Clause 2.1;

  • Improvement completion assurance means a surety bond, letter of credit,

  • Completion Date means the date of completion of the Services by the Service Provider as certified by the Procuring Entity

  • Construction project means the same as that term is defined in Section 38-1a-102.

  • Construction Phase means that Phase of the Project which shall commence after the Authority provides the Trade Contractor with written Notice to Proceed with the Construction Phase.

  • Mechanical Completion means that (a) all components and systems of the Project have been properly constructed, installed and functionally tested according to EPC Contract requirements in a safe and prudent manner that does not void any equipment or system warranties or violate any permits, approvals or Laws; (b) the Project is ready for testing and commissioning, as applicable; (c) Seller has provided written acceptance to the EPC Contractor of mechanical completion as that term is specifically defined in the EPC Contract.

  • Cost of the Project means and embraces the cost of construction; the cost of all

  • Construction Plant means appliances, machinery with necessary supply to up keep and maintenance of the works or temporary works but dose not include materials or other things intended to form part of the permanent work.

  • Subproject means a specific project to be carried out by an existing BE utilizing the proceeds of a Sub-loan or Investment, as hereinafter defined, fulfilling the conditions set forth in Part A of Schedule 4 to this Agreement;

  • Virtual Completion means the premise is in the opinion of the Employer fit for occupation.

  • construction site means a workplace where construction work is being performed;

  • Capital Improvement Project means the acquisition, construction, reconstruction, improvement, planning and equipping of roads and bridges, appurtenances to roads and bridges to enhance the safety of animal-drawn vehicles, pedestrians, and bicycles, wastewater treatment facilities, water supply systems, solid waste disposal facilities, and storm water and sanitary collection, storage and treatment facilities including real property, interests in real property, facilities, and equipment related or incidental to those facilities.

  • Study Completion means the database for the Study has been locked and all Essential Documents have been provided to the Sponsor, including a copy of the letter from the Reviewing HREC acknowledging receipt of the final report and/or closure letter from the Principal Investigator.

  • Erection, construction, remodeling, repairing means all types of work done on a particular building or work at the site thereof in the construction or development of the project, including without limitation, erecting, construction, remodeling, repairing, altering, painting, and decorating, the transporting of materials and supplies to or from the building or work done by the employees of the Contractor, Subcontractor, or Agent thereof, and the manufacturing or furnishing of

  • Tenant Improvement Work means the construction of the Tenant Improvements, together with any related work (including demolition) that is necessary to construct the Tenant Improvements.

  • Tenant Improvements Defined in Exhibit B, if any.
