Inactive Employees definition

Inactive Employees has the meaning specified in Section 6.2(a).
Inactive Employees shall have the meaning set forth in Section 7.01.
Inactive Employees means Business Employees who are on a Seller-approved leave of absence on the Closing Date as a result of military service, pregnancy or parental leave, disability leave, medical leave or any leave provided under applicable Law.

Examples of Inactive Employees in a sentence

  • Purchased Subsidiary Employees and Business Employees who accept such offer of employment and who actually commence employment with Buyer (or a Subsidiary of Buyer) shall collectively be the “Transferred Employees”; provided that Inactive Employees shall not be considered a Transferred Employee until such Inactive Employee actually commences active employment with Buyer (or a Subsidiary of Buyer).

  • Appendix A identifies any Inactive Employees, the reason they are on leave and their scheduled return date, if known.

  • Except as specified otherwise in this Agreement and subject to applicable law, Mead Johnson shall assume all Liabilities with respect to workers’ compensation claims incurred (A) prior to, on and after the Separation Date by Mead Johnson Employees of the Transferred Entities, (B) on or after the Return Date by Mead Johnson Inactive Employees and (C) on or after the Separation Date by all other Mead Johnson Transferred Employees.

More Definitions of Inactive Employees

Inactive Employees means those Business Employees who, as of the Closing Date, are not actively at work including by reason of long-term disability, short-term disability or other continuous absence;
Inactive Employees means Offered Employees on a Seller-approved leave of absence as a result of military service, pregnancy or parental leave, disability leave, medical leave, jury duty or any leave provided under applicable law and, in the case of leaves provided under applicable law, is expected to return to work in the time permitted for such leave under applicable law and, for any other leave, in accordance with the terms of such leave but not longer than one hundred eighty (180) days following the Closing Date.
Inactive Employees means the Affected Employees identified in Appendix A who are expected to be absent from work as of the Start Date, as a result of sick leave/short term, long term disability, pregnancy and/or parental leave, an approved leave of absence, or as a result of suffering a compensable workplace injury under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act (Ontario);
Inactive Employees has the meaning set forth in Section ------------------ 8.1(a) hereof.
Inactive Employees is defined in Section 9.8(a).
Inactive Employees means Employees on a Seller-approved leave of absence who are expected to return and actually return to work within the relevant time period set out below. An Employee shall be an Inactive Employee for purposes hereof only if such individual is absent as a result of military service, pregnancy or parental leave, disability leave, medical leave, jury duty or any leave provided under applicable Law and, in the case of leaves provided under applicable Law, is expected to return to work and actually returns to work in the time permitted for such leave under applicable Law and, for any other leave, is expected to return to work and actually returns to work in accordance with the terms of such leave but not longer than ninety (90) days (or, if such Employee is located in Canada, six (6) months) following the Closing Date.
Inactive Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 3.20(a) of this Agreement.
