Investment Scope ofthe Trust PropertiesThe trustee shall collectively use the trust funds in accordance with the provisions of the trust documents, and invest the trust funds in currency deposit instruments, interbank and exchange bond repurchase business, interbank and exchange market bonds, publicly offered open and closed funds and fixed-income asset management products underlying the standardized financial products in the form of portfolio investments.
There is no current plan as to which geographical areas Fortune REIT will expand into, but the Manager may consider to explore opportunities in the proposed Expanded Investment Scope regarding Geographical Scope should it be approved by the Unitholders.
The Manager considers the new flexibility provided by the REIT Code Amendments to be beneficial to Regal REIT as such flexibility will support its long-term and sustainable growth, as more fully explained below and, accordingly, subject to Unitholders’ approval, proposes to adopt the Expanded Investment Scope regarding Property Development and the Expanded Investment Scope regarding Relevant Investments.
In order for Regal REIT to be able to invest in the Relevant Investments, Unitholders must first approve, by way of Special Resolution at the EGM in accordance with the Trust Deed, the proposed Expanded Investment Scope regarding Relevant Investments as set out in Special Resolution no.
Investment Scope The Fund's investment scope includes stocks publicly issued and listed within China (including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and growth enterprise market (ChiNext) stocks as well as other stocks listed as approved by the CSRC), bonds, money market instruments, warrants, asset-backed securities, stock index futures and other financial instruments permitted by the relevant laws and regulations or by the CSRC to the extent that they comply with the related provisions of the CSRC.

The Trustee has no objection to the Manager submitting the Expanded Investment Scope regarding Relevant Investments together with the Relevant Investments Amendments for Unitholders’ approval.
