Line Maintenance definition

Line Maintenance means any work required to be carried out on an Engine in accordance with the appropriate Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and which can be accomplished either on-wing or off-wing without requiring the induction of such Engine into a Maintenance Center.
Line Maintenance means any unscheduled maintenance resulting from unforeseen events, or scheduled checks that contain servicing or inspections that do not require specialised training, equipment or facilities;
Line Maintenance means any work required to be carried out on an Engine in accordance with the aircraft manuals, which may be accomplished either on-wing or off-wing but without necessitating the return of such Engine to an Overhaul Base. Line Maintenance includes, without limitation, troubleshooting, inspection, servicing or diagnostic testing of the Engine and the removal of unserviceable Parts requiring repair or replacement and the refitting of serviceable Parts. “Line Replaceable Part” or “LRP” means all Parts (excluding LRUs), which are replaceable during Line Maintenance, with the following exceptions: all LLPs which are line replaceable; or all industry standard “common-consumable” external parts without Rolls-Royce part number (e.g. nuts, bolts, o-rings, gaskets, etc.).

More Definitions of Line Maintenance

Line Maintenance means any work required to be carried out on an Engine in accordance with the Manuals and which Operator may accomplish without returning such Engine to an Authorized Facility. Line Maintenance includes, without limitation, the provision, rework or replacement of Parts and the provision of labor in the course of work as mentioned in the preceding sentence.
Line Maintenance means minor maintenance, repair, and inspection activities, and record keeping related thereto, on Aircraft at all remote stations that Customer services, including, but not limited to, checking fluid levels, interface with flight crew, visual airframe and systems inspections, and replacement of minor components.
Line Maintenance means any routine maintenance to be carried out by ▇▇▇▇▇▇, the Engine Operator, or any of their respective subcontractors) on an Eligible Engine in accordance with the appropriate Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and which can be accomplished either on-wing or off-wing without requiring the induction of such Eligible Engine into an IAE Network facility.
Line Maintenance means with respect to any Engine, routine scheduled line maintenance of any Engine, including without limitation, preventive maintenance tests, system checks and related necessary work as recommended by Manufacturer or required by the Air Authority. Losses means any and all cost, expense (including any and all reasonable legal fees and expenses and the fees and expenses of other professional advisers), claims, proceedings, losses, liabilities, obligations, damages (whether direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential), suits, judgements, fees, penalties or fines (whether criminal or civil) of any kind or nature whatsoever, including any of the foregoing arising or imposed with or without any Indemnitee’s fault or negligence, whether passive or active or under the doctrine of strict liability.
Line Maintenance means all scheduled and unscheduled, routine and non-routine Maintenance for the In-Scope Aircraft, up through and including “A” Checks” or the equivalent, as set forth in Hawaiian’s Maintenance Program, to be performed within the applicable Turn-Times, and as more particularly described in Article 3. For the avoidance of doubt, Line Maintenance shall include, without limitation, ETOPS 1 Checks, ETOPS 2 Checks, Domestic Checks, Overnight Checks and “A” Checks, or their equivalent, as set forth Hawaiian’s Maintenance Program.
