Lost Keys, Lock Outs. The Resident will be responsible for the cost of replacing lost keys (e.g., room key, mailbox key, etc.) at a cost determined by the Manager, to a maximum of $20.00 per key. If the Resident is locked out of the Resident’s Room, the Resident will pay a fee for letting the Resident into the Room, to a maximum of $5.00, or will be provided with a temporary key to be returned immediately after use. Failure to return a temporary card in the time allotted will result in a replacement fee to a maximum of $20.00.

Lost Keys, Lock Outs. Keys to the Room and other areas of the VIU Student Residence are the property of VIU. It is your responsibility to keep the keys provided to you secure and keys are never be loaned to anyone. Unauthorized possession or unauthorized use of VIU Student Residence keys is prohibited and may result in eviction. If a key is lost or stolen it must be reported immediately to VIU. You will be responsible for the cost of replacing lost keys at a cost determined by VIU, to a maximum of $100 per key. If you are locked out of the Room, you will pay VIU’s then current fee for letting you into the Room.
Lost Keys, Lock Outs. Please visit the Yale Housing Office if you have damaged or lost your key(s). A replacement fee of $50 per key will be charged to the student’s YalePay account. Residents who are locked out of their apartments can contact Security at 000-000-0000 for an officer to open their doors. Dormitory residents who are locked out of their rooms can borrow a key, free of charge, from the lock-out box located in their dormitory building. The key must be returned to the lock-out box within 48 hours to avoid fees. Students can also contact their Community Fellow for assistance in obtaining a key from the lock-out box or contact Yale Security to be let into their bedroom. In some cases, lost or stolen keys pose a security risk and may result in replacing the lock mechanism and issuing new keys. Students are assessed a $350 fee to their YalePay accounts for this service.

Anytime Lessee requires Ideal Rentals to open a property because of negligence after normal business hours Lessee shall pay to Ideal Rentals Fifty (50) Dollars. Lessor’s access to property. Lessee agrees that he will not use or permit any one else to use said premises for any purpose in violation of the laws of the United States, the State of Illinois, the County or City of Peoria, IL or any regulating authority. Lessee agrees that he shall keep subject premises in a clean and wholesome condition and that all health, fire and police regulations shall, in all respects and at all times be fully complied with by lessee and their family, guest and invitees. Specifically, No firearms allowed. Noise is to be kept at a level that is not audible outside the unit.

If tenant is locked out after business hours or on weekends and Landlord’s personnel is called back to unlock the door, then Tenant shall pay a $100 lockout fee, which Landlord will bill to Tenant’s account. Landlord does not guarantee that its personnel will always be immediately available for lock out service on weekends and after business hours. In the event that a locksmith is called, the tenant assumes all responsibilities for cost, damages, and fees.
